He could go looking, but Black Hawke had the expertise and technology to find her. By hiring the private company, he was giving them the best shot at finding Sammy.

Hopefully alive.

“Needle in a haystack. Like the cops said,” Fletcher said.

“I need to punch something,” Hunter said, sliding his phone into his back pocket. “Your ex-husband would be good, but a punching bag will do in the meantime.”

Olivia gave him a sad smile. “Thanks Hunter.”

“Call me if you need anything,” he said, and Fletcher nodded.

“I’m going to head home, too. I’ll be right back if you need me or pick up the phone if you want to talk,” Addison said, and began tapping on her phone, obviously ordering an Uber.

“I’ll give you a ride home,” Hunter said.

Fletcher narrowed his eyes and Daniel shot him a look.

Interesting.

“Oh. You sure?” Addison blushed.

“Yeah. You can distract me, so I don’t get road rage.” He winked.

Oh boy.

Fletcher hoped this wasn’t going in the direction he thought it was. Addison had no idea the type of sex life his brother enjoyed. He doubted very much it was the same as hers.

Or that of most people.

Daniel cleared his throat. “We should probably go, too. We can give you a ride, Addison,” Daniel said, and Harper nodded beside him.

Addison looked between the two men while Hunter rolled his eyes at Daniel.

“I think I’ve got this, thanks bro. Come on, Addison, I don’t bite and I’m much more fun than those two lovebirds.” He placed a hand on Addison’s back and led her out.

Fletcher nearly snorted.

He was pretty sure Hunter did bite, but at least Olivia was far too deep in shock to notice. She simply waved farewell to her friend.

Daniel looked at Fletcher and he shrugged.

Addison was a grown woman. Hunter wasn’t going to pressure her into anything. He may be into darker things than either of them, but he didn’t cross consent lines.

She could, and likelywould, say no.

Right now, he had a more important problem to focus on.

Getting Sammy home.
