“I’m going to assume that is Olivia Miller.”

Like he had to ask by the obvious red curls on the woman in the photo.

“Of course it’s Olivia,” Fletcher said, sighing. He was over pretending and hiding his feelings for her. From his brothers, in any case. “Look, her ex is threatening to leak it to the media. He’s trying to get full custody of their daughter.”

As if that explained everything.

“Well, I’m sorry for Olivia, but that doesn’t change the fact you’ve both breached the anti-fraternization policy. For God’s sake, Fletcher. You’re the director of marketing and a major shareholder,” Daniel growled. “If—orwhen—this leaks, it’s going to be a goddamn media nightmare.”

Like he needed it spelled out to him.

He raised his brows, irritated.

“They’ll be more interested in my single status than our HR policies and you know it,” he said loudly, standing. “And it’s time we talked about that policy. It’s fucking ridiculous and time for it to go.”

“It’s not going any fucking where,” Daniel replied just as loudly.

And there it was.

Daniel was so damn emotionally charged around this topic he couldn’t see how outdated it was.

“It was put in place to deal with our father. People have office romances all the damn time. It’s not nineteen eighty fucking five anymore.”

Daniel’s eyes narrowed.

“You know the damage he caused with his philandering ways and now this! We’ll be on every goddamn media homepage and social feed around the country!”

And global, if Fletcher’s predictions were correct, but he wasn’t going to mention it.

“What my cock does is nobody’s goddamn business,” he spat out, and Daniel let out a long sigh.

“I know this is difficult. Hell, I was in your shoes”—he gave Fletcher a sideways look—“kind of, several weeks ago. It’s the price we pay for who we are.”

Fletcher knew his brother well. They were a close family. Daniel had a strong sense of justice, so he just had to get him to understand the bigger picture here.

Hunter barged into his office.

“The fuck? I could hear you both yelling down the hall.” Hunter glared at them, closing the door behind him. “What is going on?”

“This,” Daniel said, handing Hunter the photo, then kicked out a chair for him and they both sat, spreading out their designer-clad legs.

Then they glared at Fletcher. He sighed and sat back down.

“I called it weeks ago, and you denied it,” Daniel said.

Fletcher ran a hand over his face.

“Nothing had happened back then. I wasn’t lying to you. I wanted her, sure. Hell, I’ve lusted after her for a long time, but I knew the rules. Then one day—”

“Enough with the romance novel,” Daniel said, shaking his head.

“Don’t be a prick, Daniel,” Hunter said, narrowing his eyes at Fletcher.

“I’m not. I’m being the goddamn CEO. I don’t need to hear the details. What we need is a plan to deal with this if Olivia’s ex leaks the photo.”

He was right.

Damn it.
