Page 4 of Claiming Jessica

My eyes land on the only adult running this event, and suddenly the world stops spinning.

I forget why it is we’ve come here. I forget who I am with. I’m fairly certain I forget my own name while I contemplate the creature whose visage knocks the breath from my lungs.

Whatever obstacles I was expecting to find here, the most beautiful woman in the world certainly wasn’t on my list.

“Exquisite,” I mouth, unable to wrap my mind around the fact that there is a woman standing a stone’s throw away who could very easily take me to the cleaners and make me happy for the privilege. Heart-shaped face, cherubic cheeks, brown curls and a bombshell figure beneath her… Is that a cat costume?

She’s wearing a onesie pajama that makes a person look like they’re dressed up as a calico cat.

No. The thing is baggy and not at all sexy, but on her, the urges I save for the gentlemen’s club charge through me at full force. My mouth dries and any intelligent commands stick in my throat.

Her lips are peach, slicked with something that I’ll bet tastes like candy. She’s got to be well into her thirties, but has that look about her that tells me she’s never kissed a man while wearing actual lipstick that doesn’t boast a candy flavor.

I want to suck on that full lip. I want to rub that crease between her eyebrows. I want to fuck her sideways until all her problems go away.

My gasp triggers the men surrounding me to place a hand on their weapons, but thanks to the number of minors in attendance, no one draws their guns.

It’s then that the rest of the room slams back into view. The teens are well aware that Morettis entering Torros territory is cause for distress. They were leisurely reading and playing board games while eating pizza, but now they are huddled in pockets against the far walls.

I hold up my hands. “No need to worry. We just want a minute to speak with your teacher.”

“I’m the librarian,” the woman corrects me. Though she keeps her expression composed, I can feel her silently adding “dumbass” to the end of her sentence.

I point to her, incredulous. “You’re a librarian?” I should be moving her toward the basement so we can grab my money and get out of here.

Her voice is as smooth as a harp’s song. She’s not at all as scared as she should be. “I am. I’m new.” She motions to the circulation desk. “If you’d like to check out a book, I’m afraid you’ll have to wait for proper daylight hours. This is a special event for teens only. The library closes at seven o’clock.” She glances at the students, taking in their fear and sizing me up in a new light.

That’s right, little kitten. Let me see those big, blue eyes.

I glance at her tits but pretend I was searching out her nametag. “We’ll make sure to heed your business hours next time, Jessica.” I like the way her name rolls around on my tongue like the filthiest of words.

Giovanni frowns at me and takes over, since it is clear I have forgotten the basic tenants of my job description. “Show us to the basement, and we’ll be out of your hair.” He pulls out his gun but keeps it aimed at the floor, merely showing it to the teens, who look near to wetting themselves. “I’m leaving one of my men up here, in case anyone gets any funny ideas about calling for help. No one’s in danger, so no one’s going to touch their cell phones. Understood?”

The sound of kids whimpering doesn’t get me off.

This librarian, however…

“The basement?” Jessica repeats, tilting her head to the side. “What do you want with the basement? It’s where we keep the damaged books, and the donations we store to sell at the next book fair.”

When I forget to speak yet again, Giovanni takes charge once more. “Show us the basement. The less you know, the better.”

The pussycat’s chest rises and falls with growing anxiety. I’m torn between wanting to soothe her angst and backing her into a corner so I can get a better look at the fear in those innocent eyes. She turns to the teens and forces a smile. “Everything is going to be fine. I’m taking these well-mannered men to see the used books for the upcoming book sale, and I’ll be right back. Keep on reading. There’s plenty of pizza, too.”

But the kids don’t move. They’re not pacified by their librarian’s cheery tone because they’re smart.

I should have stopped by our family’s gentlemen’s club this evening and shot my load on a shiny, glittered ass there. I’m hard as a rock, watching Jessica silently debate between fight or flight.

Oh, please be fight. Images of me slamming that curvy body against the wall and ripping that ridiculous costume off her make me impossibly harder.

Oh, please be flight. I could catch Jessica in the parking lot and bend her over the hood of my car, beating her round rump for making me chase her down.

I don’t even realize that she is leading us toward the back of the library to an elevator until Giovanni nudges me forward. “Bruno, what is wrong with you?” my kid brother whispers out of the corner of his mouth.

I wish I knew.
