"I will never forget it," he said firmly. "I could never forget you." He gritted his teeth and ground his balls against the entrance to my pussy. "Fuck yeah."

He paused for a moment to slam his lips into mine. His kiss was as furious as his thrusts. His tongue pushed deep into my mouth, almost to the back of my throat.

I sucked on it like it was his cock.

"Mmmm." He simultaneously thrust into my mouth and my pussy.

It made me lightheaded and more aroused than ever.

He broke off the kiss long enough to say, "Come for me."

I couldn't have waited a second longer anyway. I came so fiercely it was almost painful. Wonderful, beautiful pain that filled every part of me and made my pulse spike better than any adrenaline rush.

He followed me half a second later. His grunts and groans filled the gym better than any exercise class. His hand tightened around my wrists, and he pressed me more firmly against the wall. He drove in with harder strokes like his life depended on it.

He let out a deep, guttural growl from the back of his throat. If he was in wolf form, he probably would have howled.

I cried out with him. My breath came in hard pants that got softer and softer as I came down from my high.

"Oh. My. Gods," he said. "Sex is way better than I ever imagined. Or maybe it's just you."

I laughed softly. "It's definitely just me," I joked.

He kissed me lightly. "That sounds accurate. Because you're pretty fucking epic. Now, we should do a workout."

I made a face. I had forgotten about that. "I guess we should." A lot of my frustration at dealing with Dagen was gone, but there was still some left in the back of my mind. Probably more than just a workout was going to eradicate, but it was a start.

"Good workout?"Jake asked as I stepped back into the office, Cooper at my heels. He peered at us over the rim of his reading glasses. It was clear from his expression he knew more than a workout went on. Or at least he suspected.

"Have you got a camera down there?" I slipped into a chair behind my computer and raised my eyebrows at him.

He grinned. "We have cameras everywhere. For security purposes, of course."

I snorted. "Of course." I had no intention, or need, to apologise for anything he saw when he was spying on me.

Cooper smiled and settled into a chair. "I'd like to see the footage if you recorded it."

"As it happens, I did," Jake said. "We can watch it later with some popcorn."

I opened my laptop and logged on. "What else have you been doing? Anything useful?" I rolled my eyes at him, but he just grinned back.

"Just running background checks on the Lair's staff. Most of them are demons, but a couple are witches. Some are actually human. One or two are shifters."

I nodded and tapped at my keyboard. "I can't help thinking Dagen buying the Lair didn't happen in isolation. He also made an offer on the garage." I nodded towards Cooper. "We always keep a close eye on anything that comes up for sale, whether we want to buy it or not, but I feel like we missed something."

I brought up files on the real estate listings and sales for the last two to three years.

"We would have noticed a pattern," Jake said.

"Only if it was obvious," I said. "He bought the Lair under Black Wolf Holdings. He wanted us to notice that." Anything I bought legally was purchased under White Wolf, unless it was shady. That stuff was under Ivory Claw, or one of my smaller companies.

"I'll help you look." Cooper pulled a chair over closer. Close enough that our shoulders touched. "What are we looking for, exactly?"

"I'm not sure," I admitted. "Something so subtle it was easily missed."

Cooper peered at the screen. "Is Dagen's name really Dagen?"
