Thirty kilometres through an alien forest, to meet up with the other shuttles, with who knows who or what possibly after us. Nothing could possibly go wrong, right?

I stepped closer to Danec and Slek moved to my other side, next to Brinley. In silence, we followed J'avet deeper into the trees.
