Not tonight.

I need to see you.

Kitten

Ok. What’s your address?

Skipper

Milsons Road. Number 42. Above Milsons Gym.

Kitten

You live above the gym?

Skipper

Yes. Can you come around9pm?

Kitten

It might have to be later. I’ve got a prior commitment.

Is that ok?

Skipper

Of course. I’ll be waiting.

My takeaway from that conversation is that surely if he was going to dump me, he wouldn’t invite me to his house… right?

I don’t really have time to analyse it as I ride as fast as I can, across town and to the outskirts where the traffic is less, but the roads are long. With every metre closer to Vixen’s Lodge, more dread settles in my gut.

I don’t want to do this!

I don’t want to do this!

I can’t get my inner self to shut the fuck up as I ride up the back road that leads to the Lodge. I leave the bike under the tree, forcing myself to walk forward and not run in the other direction, eventually making my way to the back door.

He will expose Tyler. I have to do this.

By the time I knock on the back door, I’m ready to find a knife and drive it into Master Hill's nut sack. I loathe this man, and I’m sure he can see it in my eyes as he opens the door and steps aside to let me in.

“You’re two minutes late.” Master Hill snaps, and I shrug.

“I’m here. Now what?”

His eyes turn to slits as he studies me, standing with his arms crossed over his suit-clad chest.

“You’d do well to remember thatIam your Master.”

Fuck you, Master of nothing!

“Of course…Master.” I spread my black lips into a fake smile, and he drops his arms.

“Follow me.”

Ugh! I follow the fuckhead, because I need Tyler to remain protected. I only have to do this for another year until I graduate school, and then Master Hill can go fuck himself!
