I giggle, shaking my head at my adorable dork. “I can’t imagine any dreams of you being peaceful. You have too much energy.”

He shrugs before his eyes drop to my lips. “Can I kiss you goodnight?”

I bite my lip and nod, catching his excited hazel eyes with mine. Then he palms my nape and pulls me gently to him. His lips are warm and soft, and taste of the sweet marshmallows he’s been cooking over the campfire. I melt into his kiss, loving the feeling of calm he brings.

“Come on, Hastings. Don’t hog our girl.” Shaun whines, and Simon pulls back from our kiss, flipping the other guys off over his shoulder while keeping his eyes on me.

“Goodnight, Cherry. See you in the morning.” He lifts my hand and presses his lips to it, and I fucking feel myself blush.

Jesus, I’m turning into a sap!

As Simon walks off, grinning from ear to ear, Marcus steps forward before hesitating. We haven’t really talked about his decision yet, and I can tell he’s unsure what he should do right now.

I reach my hand out to him, and without any further hesitation, he steps forward and takes it, bringing my hand up to cup the side of his jaw.

“I…” He’s lost for words. My poor Marcus is still hurting. He’s still coming to terms with whatever this is, and I fucking hate myself for it. He deserves more than what I can give him, but I’m a greedy bitch, just as Bell said, and I want him. I want all of them.

“Marcus.” I whisper as his dark eyes stare into mine. “I really have missed you. So much.”

Leaning forward, Marcus presses his forehead to mine, maintaining eye contact as he struggles with his emotions.

“I’ve missed you too, Rhee. I feel like there’s so much I need to say, but at the same time, I have no idea what that is.”

I nod, understanding completely. “I know. Me too.”

He sighs, “Can I kiss you goodnight too?”

I nod, licking my lips, my heart racing with longing to feel his pressed to mine once again. It’s been too long since I’ve tasted them, and thankfully, Marcus doesn’t waste another second. He cups either side of my jaw and crashes his lips into mine. The familiar taste of Marcus mixed with beer engulfs me, and I wind my arms tight around him as a whimper escapes me. The kiss is strong and deep and filled with so much emotion that I don’t realise I’m crying again until we pull back.

Marcus’ face softens as he sees my tears, and he swipes them away with his thumbs, his voice soothing when he speaks.

“Don’t cry, beautiful. We’ll work this out, and all the hurt will be behind us soon enough.”

“I don’t deserve you,” I whisper, and he shakes his head.

“Don’t say that. You deserve the world, Rhee, and I’m gonna spend my whole life making sure you have it.”

Shit! I forgot how raw Marcus can be. He wears his heart on his sleeve, and he loves profusely. How am I lucky enough to have his attention?

“Sweet dreams. I’ll see you when the sun comes up.” Marcus offers me one of his warm smiles, and my insides melt again. I really have missed him.

I can see his reluctance to let me go, but he does, stepping away slowly and heading towards the guys' tent. When he’s far enough away, I turn my eyes to Shaun. My Spanish Casanova has a devilish grin on his face as he waits for me to acknowledge that it’s his turn. I can’t hide my stupid grin in return.

“Cass, I need to pee. Come with? I’m scared of getting mauled by a horny wombat.”

Shaun throws his head back, laughing while Garrett chuckles beside him.

“I’ll grab my sleeping bag. Meet you at your tent?” Garrett asks, and I nod.

“Come on, Kitten. I’ll race you over to the toilet block.” Shaun nudges my shoulder and then takes off, running across the clearing towards the toilet block.

With a squeal, I run after him, pushing my legs hard to catch the fast bugger. He beats me there and turns around to catch me in his arms when I try to keep running past him, the momentum sending us crashing to the dewy grass in a tangle of arms and legs. Our laughter floats up into the crisp night sky, and I find myself hovering over my Casanova. My laughter eases off as he brushes my flyaways back.

“Kitten, why don’t you ever wear your hair down like you do at the Feast?”

Shaun’s question catches me off guard, and I debate whether or not to lie. The lie would be so easy, but the guys have asked for my honesty, and they deserve it.

“Uh… well, it kinda has something to do with the video that was leaked,” I admit, and Shaun’s brows furrow. He moves to sit up, and I follow his lead until we are sitting face to face on the grass. Reaching forward, he tugs me closer by my hips until I’m sitting cross-legged in between his legs.
