She cried out as he thrusted deeper, her nails digging into his back.

“While the other takes ownership of the first,” Rune said at her ear as he pinned her hips to him. Moving beneath her, possessing more of her with each stroke.

“Ownership?” Faye clung to him, wrapping her arms around his neck as he took her in an easy rhythm.

“Commanding me or telling me I am yours is how we express devotion.”

Faye moaned and gripped the front of his throat, crying, “Harder.”

Rune purred in unison with the Ra’Voshnik. She wants us to spread her legs and fuck her hard. Take what is offered.

He ignored the creature obeying his queen as he seated himself completely.

“Fuck,” Faye sighed against his neck, trembling in his arms.

Rune adjusted his hold and said, “Lean back.”

Faye rested against his arms. Her breathy moans timed with each surge of his hips. She tightened her hold on his throat as her other hand reached between them. He slowed to watch as she touched herself.

“No, don’t stop,” she growled.

Rune gave a soft laugh, giving her what she needed. A flush spread between her breasts as he perceived the initial tremors of her orgasm. “Come for me, love.”

Her lips parted at his words as she squeezed around his length again and again.

Rune thrusted into her harder, deeper. He grated, “Offer me your throat.”

She turned her head to the side, and Rune sank his fangs deep.

“Fuck me. Come for me.” She commanded.

Rune groaned, losing himself in her. He came hard, his cock pulsing as he spent deep within her.

Rune pulled her against him, absently thrusting into her as he caught his breath.

She clung to him, rocking her hips. Faye leaned back to look at him as he hardened again while inside her. “My vampire is insatiable.”

The corner of his mouth lifted. “I am yours to command, my love.”

Chapter sixty-seven

FayecollapsedbreathlessagainstRune’s chest. She straddled his hips as he reclined against the headboard. Her slender arms wrapped around his neck, holding him close. He teasingly shifted his hip to thrust into her, eliciting a moan from her lips. By the Darkness, how was he still hard? He’d kept her up most of the night. The man should be done.

“I’m hungry,” Faye said, pressing her hands to his chest as she lifted off him— Surprised she made it off his lap. He’d pinned her to the bed the last time she tried to pull away. A predator intent on keeping his prey.

“You should go while I still have a hold on my instincts.” His gaze dipped to her breasts as he licked the point of his fangs. “I have a mind to pin you to this bed until dawn.”

Faye watched his mouth, debating if she really needed a break. Darkness, he was too alluring. So different from the man she hit with a candleholder weeks ago. He looked happy, content. It made her heart tighten.

Rune’s words clicked in her mind and Faye glanced over her shoulder at the ever-twilight sky through the narrow windows along the far wall. “It’s never dawn here.”

A wicked grin crossed his lips.

“No. I am starving and can’t be sustained with blood like some people,” she said.

He purred, leaning forward. “I will calm myself.”

Faye wasn’t sure how much she trusted his statement. He canted his head, peering at her with dark misted eyes.
