“One for the ages, she and Gloria both,” Seth grumbled, then nodded at Heavenly. “It’s all right, angel. I’ve got you.”
“I love you,” she said with a dreamy sigh.
“I love you, too,” Seth assured as he and Beck began herding her and Gloria toward the living room.
“And I love you,” Heavenly told Beck. “Even if Gloria got you first.”
“It doesn’t matter if I was first,” his ex insisted vehemently. “You’re his last, honey.”
Heavenly nodded as she slurped up the last of the drink from her plastic penis bottle. Scowling, she reached over and grabbed Gloria’s, then sipped some of her cocktail. “Mmm. Thass so good. What is it?”
“Iss vodka and crabberry juice,” Gloria slurred back.
“Buddy, make that coffee extra strong,” Beck called over his shoulder as he and Seth settled the tipsy duo onto the couch.
“Already did. It’s brewing now.”
“Buddy? Buddy?” Gloria yelled. “Where’s my big daddy?”
“I’m right here, baby girl.” He waved to her from the kitchen.
“How was your poker game?”
“It was great.”
“Did you save some pokin’ for me?” Gloria snorted and giggled.
“Always.” Buddy grinned.
After flanking their girl on the couch, Seth turned to her and smiled. “Did you have a good time, angel?”
Beck smiled tightly. “It definitely looks like you did.”
“I had a blast!” She tossed her arms in the air, nearly sending her plastic penis flying.
“Buddy!” Gloria yelled to her man in kitchen.
“Yes, love.”
“I’m marrying your sexy ass tomorrow.”
“Actually, make that later today, baby girl.” He winked. “Hopefully, you’ll be sober by then.”
Gloria gasped dramatically. “I’m not drunk. I’m…happy.”
“Me, too.” Heavenly sipped more air from her penis bottle, then scowled. “Iss all gone.”
“It’s okay, little girl. Buddy is making you some coffee,” Beck assured. “Tell us everything you drank tonight.”
“Umm, lesss see. First, we had champagne, then we had sex in the sand.”
“No, no, no. Sex on the beach,” Gloria corrected, then dissolved into more snorting laughter.
“Oh, yeah…on the beach. Then the girls… Oh, my gosh, you guys, Gloria’s girls are so sweet. I never met hookers before. But they were awesome! They gave me all kinds of tips on things to try in the bedroom.” Heavenly’s dimpled smile was full of mischief.
A sidelong glance told Beck that Seth’s curiosity was as piqued as his own.
Beck slid a hand over her thigh. “What kind of things?”
