“Sure thing, Kitty Kat.”

Reaching for my cell, I order us breakfast before finding a clean pair of boxers and heading out to start the coffee machine.

I almost double back when the sound of the shower running hits my ears but I figure she probably needs a rest.

I’m leaning back against the counter with my coffee when she emerges in yesterday’s clothes and her hair piled on top of her head.

“You lied to me,” she states, and my heart plummets into my feet.

“No, I haven’t,” I argue, scrambling to figure out what she’s talking about.

“Yes, you did. You told me you’d wake me so I could go to school this morning.” She makes a point of staring at the clock on the other side of the room that shows it’s almost lunchtime. “I think I might be late.”

“Shit. Yeah. Whoops.”

She glares at me. “At least try and make it sound believable,” she hisses.

“Here,” I say, passing her a mug. “I got to eat you all morning, I’m not complaining.”

Her eyes darken and her cheeks heat. “Well, maybe not but I need to go in. I already lied to everyone about where I was last night, the last thing I need is school calling Mom.”

Regrets flood me, I don’t want her getting in trouble. But really, deep down, I still find it really hard to actually care.

“Will I do?” she asks, gesturing to herself.

“You’re gorgeous and you know it,” I tell her honestly but all she does is lift a brow at me. “Okay, honestly, your lips are swollen, your neck is red from my hickeys and the way I choked you out, and something tells me that you don’t have any panties on and can feel my cum running down your thighs. Do you really think school is a good idea?”

“Well, it’s too late,” she says, pulling her phone from her pocket. “My Uber is already here. So… thanks for last night, you were right, I wasn’t disappointed.”

“Wait,” I shout when she marches across the room. “What about breakfast?”

“Rain check?”

“Do you really have to go?” I ask like a lovesick fool.

She pulls the front door open and I get blasted by cold air, helping to sink the semi I’ve been rocking since I laid eyes on her again.

“Yep. Thanks for last night, it was great. My other guy really needs to up his game,” she teases, making my stomach knot.

“Or you can leave him and just stick with me. We both know I make you come harder.”

“You know what you need to do, Styx.”

She turns around ready to take off down to where there’s a car waiting for her.

“Wait,” I call, wrapping my fingers around her upper arm. I drag her back into my body and slam my lips down on hers, giving her one more knee-weakening kiss before I release her.

“I’ll message you.”

“I might reply,” she teases as she bounces down toward the car, her skirt kicking up as she goes, getting dangerously close to showing anyone who might be watching exactly what she’s not hiding beneath.

“Fucking hell, Kitty Kat,” I groan, shoving my hand into my boxers to rearrange myself as her car takes off down the street.

I just pick up my mug once more when there’s a knock at the door.

With a sigh, I head back over, unable to ignore the lure of the pancakes I ordered for us.

But when I swing the door open, I don’t find a delivery driver staring back at me.
