“You made this for my brother,” I croaked. “Did you?”
They paused for a moment, then nodded. Cody slid to the opposite side of me. He took my other hand and squeezed.
“Your brother needs his own place, his own beginning,” he said. “This is perfect for him. It’s close enough to be near him but still give him space. When he’s feeling a certain way he can head up to the gym and work things out physically, whenever he wants to. But there’s a private entrance leading out to the street, too. He’ll have freedom. He’ll have a new life.”
“He’ll haveustoo,” said Santiago. “Whenever he needs us.”
Silas shrugged. “He’ll also have Jonas and Maya here most of the time, keeping an eye on him.”
“Pretty convenient,” I agreed.
“Sure is,” said Silas. “But if Evan happens to veer from the right track? They’ll keep him on it.”
My heart felt light, but also full. I realized it was overflowing with appreciation, and hope, and love. What the guys were doing was the sweetest thing in the world. And they weren’t just doing it for me, they were doing it for my only family.
They’re family too.
It hit me all at once; how foolish I was not to see it. To even think for a minute they’d let me walk away and be alone, after everything we’d been through.
Whatever it took, we were going to give things a shot. We were going to stay boyfriend and boyfriend and boyfriend and girlfriend — as crazy and insane as it sounded — because anything less seemed utterly and completely ridiculous.
“You sure you want this?” I had to ask, wincing as I posed the question. “All three of you?”
“Are you doubting us?” asked Cody.
“No, but there’s only one of me,” I went on. “One of me to satisfy the needs of—”
“Are you doubting yourself?” Silas cut in.
I thought about it for a moment, then shook my head. My smile was both crooked and devious.
“Iknowthe scope of my own abilities,” I shrugged playfully. “And appetites.”
Santiago stepped up, drawing near. Cupping my face in his hands, he kissed me tenderly. “So do we.”
Cody went next, then Silas. It was my favorite thing in the world, being kissed in threes. Or rather, mysecondfavorite.
“So are you in?” Cody was finally asking. His blue eyes sparkled. “I mean, it’s not every day a girl gets an offer like this.”
“That’s for sure,” I chuckled. Glancing from man to man, from boyfriend to boyfriend, I took a long, deep breath.
“I’m gonna need one thing, though,” I told them. “Something you guys haven’t given me in a while…”
My stomach twisted with a molten heat as they stared back at me in unison.
“I need you to make meyoursagain,” I said breathlessly. “All of you, together.”
I slid between them. Gliding against them, I angled my body so that it pressed against the warm, muscular flesh of their chests and arms and hands…
Taking my hint, the guys closed even tighter around me.
“So you’re giving yourself over to us again?” teased Silas. “In payment for… services rendered?”
“Yes sirs,” I said, raising a mock salute.
