All the way in, all the way out. Long strokes. Deep strokes. Strokes that had me crying with pleasure and whimpering with the need for more.

I bent my knees and Adrian went faster, bouncing me off his abdomen with two powerful arms. I felt like a rag doll. Like a toy or a plaything being used to its fullest, totally satisfying his every need.

And it felt fuckingamazing.

“Adrian…”

I craned my head, seeking his. He brought his face to mine.

“Baby…”

We kissed again, this time over my shoulder, and it felt like our very souls connected. Suddenly everything was perfectly clear. Warren, Luke, and now, Adrian. He’d come home, just like me. Home, wrapped tightly in my arms. Buried deep in the valley between my legs.

Home where we both belonged.

I’d always loved him too. Emotionally. Physically. In ways that I could never explain, up until now.

I hadn’t told him, though. I hadn’t had the courage. But now…

“I love you…”

I reached back with one hand, burying it deep in his thick dark hair. Grabbing a handful, I pulled him even tighter against me. Every thrust brought us closer together. Each delirious stroke was one step closer to heaven.

“I love you!”

He kissed me harder and deeper than he ever had, his tongue sliding amazingly against mine. And then we came together, exploding against one another. My warm, wet channel locking itself tightly around his big, thrusting shaft. Milking it until it exploded. Milking it throughout, and even afterward, until he’d cursed and hissed and groaned and deposited every last drop all the way up deep, deep inside me.

Through it all I never let go of his hair. Never stopped kissing him. Our souls were our bodies and our bodies were one, especially as he went limp on top of me, collapsing against my naked back.

“I’ve always loved you too,” I admitted, finally turning to look at him. We were face to face, body to body. At least until he scooped me into his arms and carried me easily over to the soft, blanketed couch.

“And I’ll never, everstop,” I promised, nuzzling my face into his chest.

“And here’s the new key,” I said, dropping it into the old man’s wrinkled pink palm. “The knob’s firmer now, you just can’t jiggle it open. And that key works for both doors now — front and back.”

Emmett scratched his head and looked back at me. “Forty dollars!” he cried, shaking his head in disbelief. “Damn. I still don’t understand what was wrong with the original lock, though.”

“That’s just it,” I smiled. “It was the original lock. Been here since the place was built, back in the 1950’s.”

“40’s actually,” he corrected me with a wink.

I tried to imagine what the town must’ve looked like back then, when the old animal hospital had first been erected. How small the roads must’ve been. How few and far between the businesses, and the houses.

“Tomorrow I’ve got someone coming to fill the cracks in the front walkway,” I said. “That shouldn’t be too bad, though. They’re going to look at that crack in the foundation as well. If it’s not too bad I’ll have them dig down and tar it, which should keep the basement from flooding.”

“The basement’s been flooding for decades,” Emmett pointed out.

“Yeah, well it’s time to put a stop to that.”

He looked back at me with a tight-lipped shrug, but I could see the underlying smile. I was happy to be back, and the old man was even happier to have me. For the better part of the past two weeks I’d done more than just fall back into my old routine, I’d started up all new ones as well.

“You’re locking up tonight by the way,” I told him. “I’ve got plans.”

“Another hot date, eh?” he chuckled. “With that nice young gentleman from last week?”
