For a few seconds, I pretended to consider Noah’s offer. “So I’d have the entire ice-suite all to myself?”
“You certainly would, yes.”
“So I could lounge out across the bed…”
“Sure could,” Noah smiled. “All by your lonesome. It’s entirely up to you, of cour—”
“I think I’d rather take my chances with my teammate,” I said, risking a quick wink at Devin now that the cameras were off. “You know. For the company, if nothing else.”
Noah eyed me sideways for about half a second before finally speaking. “Yes, well that’s entirely your choice,” the host said politely. “But as the only female on an all-male team, we definitely had to ask.”
“Thank you, Noah,” I smiled, raising what was left of my vodka his way. “I’ll remember your generosity when I’m ringing the final bell.”
“You mean whenwe’reringing the final bell,” Reese corrected me with a grunt.
“Yes,” I chuckled. “Of course.”
