She took a deep breath. Hesitated, then shook her head. “Not Sierra. Not with you.” She cupped her hand around his face and smeared a kiss over his lips. Leaned back to lock her gaze with his. “I trust you completely, and I plan on spending the rest of my life with you. I don’t want any secrets between us. My real name is Francie. Frances Smythe.”
“Francie.” His mouth curled up as he studied her. “It suits you. And now I know who your parents are. Jack is following in their footsteps, isn’t he?”
“Yeah, he is. He’s building on what they’ve already done.”
“Your secrets are safe with me, Sierra slash Francie. So are Jack’s and your parents’. I’ll protect all of you for the rest of my life.”
“I know you will, Cody Parker. I have absolutely no doubts about that.”
She took his face in her hands. Stared into his eyes, savoring the connection that hummed between them. The bond that made their hearts beat together as one. “I’m going to love you until the day I die, Cody Parker. And I know you’re going to love me right back.”
