"I know a guy who owed me a favor." He laughs. "You're worth it." Daniel kisses the top of my head.

The six-story, eighty-foot wide duck is more massive than I ever imagined. It towers over the homes, and barely squeezes through the harbor. I can only imagine what the neighbors are thinking.

"That thing is insane! Whatever made you think of adding this to your list?" Daniel asks.

"What do you do when you see a giant rubber duck? You smile, right? It just makes you happy. When I see a rubber duck, it reminds me of watchingSesame Streetwith my sister as a kid, then again with my own kids. I loved Ernie and his rubber ducky. So, when I found out about Mama Duck, I knew I needed to see her in real life. Just to make me feel happy."

"I will go to the ends of the Earth to make you happy, dollface. I will never stop trying to make you smile. Your smile is what makes me happy." His strong hands grip the side of my face, bringing my mouth to his, and he kisses me slowly. My hands slide into his shirt and up his rock-hard abs. Our kiss deepens, and a loud moan escapes my lips.

"Will you finally take me home now?" I playfully beg. "I want to turn you into my own personal birthday cake."

"Check, please," Daniel shouts.

Lying in bed, with Daniel still asleep next to me, I pull my revival list from my purse and cross off my two adventures from yesterday.

Only one more to go. Get a tattoo. With the trial in a couple of days, the last thing I want to do is talk about tattoos with Daniel. When all the dust has settled, he can direct me to the perfect person for the first piece of ink.

"I still don't like number five," Daniel says, waking from a groggy sleep.

"Good morning to you too, sunshine." I laugh. "Well, how should we fix it? Have sex with an incredibly hot guy over and over?"

"Not bad. How about this?" Daniel sits up, taking the pen and paper from me. He completely scratches theone-night standout and replaces it withfall in love.

Tears sting my eyes. Without saying anything, I take the pen from Daniel and cross off the words he wrote.

"You don't like it?" he asks.

"No, I think it's perfect. I've just already completed it. I started falling for you the first night we met, no matter how hard you tried to push me away. The night you protected my kids, I knew you were someone worth waiting for. But the nights we were curled up on the couch, watchingThe Golden Girlsmade me fall harder for you. It's all about those perfect imperfect nights. I thought I would find happiness by completing this list.

"You didn't?"

"I did, but I soon realized it wasn't about completing items on a list; it was about who I was completing them with. Doing anything with someone you love makes it better."

“I know something I want to do over and over with you.” Daniel pulls me on top of him, easing my nightshirt off, giving him free access to my naked body. “You are so fucking beautiful, Andrea.”

“Make love to me, Romeo.”
