I start looking around, finding a thing of salt in the cabinet and Carter's Gatorade in the fridge. Perfect.

"Oh, you know," I say nonchalantly. "Just having a bit of fun."

His brows furrow as he watches me. "Isn't he going to notice the seal is broken?"

Taking a butter knife from the drawer, I slip it under the rim and leverage it until the seal comes off with the cap, in one piece. "No, because it won't be."

Noah chuckles while I pour a disgusting amount of salt into two bottles of Gatorade and shake them up. This way, if Jace happens to grab one as well, I won't miss my target. And if Carter drinks from both? Well, then it's a double win for me.

After putting the bottles back in the fridge, I grab the lotion out of my purse and make my way into the bathroom—mixing it with his shampoo. Then, I open up his cologne and pour it out. The second I pull a small bottle out of my pocket and open the lid, Noah cringes and covers his nose.

"Oh my God," he groans. "What is that smell?"

My gaze meets his in the reflection of the mirror as I smirk. "Fish oil."

He literally gags, and I roll my eyes playfully. Lastly, I grab the baby oil from the medicine cabinet and head into Carter's bedroom. At first, I wonder if I'm in the right place, but the second I see the football jersey with TRAYLAND across the back hanging on the wall, I know I am.

Surprisingly enough, there isn't much in here. If I didn't know any better, I would think that no one really lives here at all. It looks more like a guest room, or a kids room that they moved out of. The only sign it's been occupied recently is the half-empty bottle of water on the nightstand, and a few articles of clothing on the floor.

"As much as I love watching you wreak havoc on whoever these people are," Noah's voice pierces the silence, "we should probably hurry up."

I open the baby oil and go over to the door, smearing just a little on the knob—enough to make it nearly impossible to open. "What's wrong? You nervous?"

He crosses his arms over his chest and looks at me like he's either fascinated or terrified. "Damn right. Not everyone is evil and fearless like you."

"Oh, babe." I smile brightly at him. "Consider this an appetizer to what I have on the menu for him. I'm just getting started."
