We pull up to a stop sign, which makes talking easier, and I just have to ask, “Like what? A condom?”
“Yes, actually.”

“If I recall, you were more than willing—”
“Then,” I say, my tone turning firm. “Not now.”
“Why not now?” he asks.
I glance around. There’s no one in any direction, but we’re just sitting at this stop sign, and I wish we were going already.
Even if what he forgot really was a condom?
I don’t know what to think about that.
I clear my throat. “Just because you want me doesn’t mean I have to give in,” I huff.
“Do you really expect me to believe you don’t want me?”
I gape at his backside, so grateful he can’t see me, and he finally takes off again. It’s only three more minutes before we arrive at his place. He parks nearby, and I have no choice but to follow him inside. None of the other guys are around, and I’m not sure how I feel about being here alone with Rob again. Not that I want the others to tease or harass us. They wouldn’t harass Rob. Well, they would dress it up as giving him a hard time, all in good fun, but I, for one, am not up for that.
“It won’t take you long to get what you need, right?”
“You’re in a big hurry, huh?”
“I told you I didn’t want to leave my car behind,” I remind him.
“I recognize that.”
“Yes, but do you care?”
“Why wouldn’t I care?”
“Then why didn’t you take me to a gas station?” I cross my arms and glare at him.
He cups my chin. “I’ll get you everything you need.”
I snort and shake my head. “You don’t know what I need.”
“Sure I don’t.”
I grimace. “You don’t—”
“I know how to make you orgasm.”
“You also know how to make me frustrated beyond belief,” I mutter.
“Isn’t that what guys do best?” he asks with his wicked grin and an equally wicked glint in his eyes.
I scowl and shake my head.
“Come on now. You can’t be all that upset with me.”
