I immediately shook my head. “No. It’s just change. I’m not good with change.”

Seth brushed his nose with mine. I closed my eyes, inhaling his scent. “It’ll be a good change, and Stephen and I will make the transition smooth for you.” He pressed his lips to mine again. “Now sit your cute behind down somewhere with your bear and let us men get everything loaded.”

I sat down on one of the rockers on the porch. Stephen flashed me a grin, making my heart skip a beat in my chest before he disappeared into the house after Seth.

Once everything was loaded, Trent wrapped me up in his arms, squeezing me tight to him. He was moving out today as well, but all of his stuff was already packed, and Dad was going to help him load up this evening.

My throat closed up with tears, and my eyes blurred. “Promise me you’ll still always be here when I need you?” I asked him, tightening my arms around his waist.

He dropped a kiss to the top of my head. “You’re the most important thing in the entire world to me, Bailey. I’malwayshere for you,” he promised.

Sniffling, I leaned up on my tiptoes and pressed a kiss to his cheek. “I love you, Trent.”

He squeezed me even tighter. “And I love you, little sis. Now, go. It’s time to move on with the next chapter of your life, and you can’t do that if you’re clinging to me.”

Laughing softly, I stepped back, swiping at my cheeks. Stephen wrapped an arm around my shoulder. “We’ll take good care of her,” he assured Trent.

My brother grinned. “I know you will.”

With that, he walked back inside, and Stephen led me to the truck. I slid into the passenger seat, and Seth reached over to grab my hand in his, lifting it to his lips.

“I’m proud of you. You’re being very brave about all of this.”

I blew out a soft breath. “We’ll see how I’m feeling tomorrow.”

He gently squeezed my hand. “If you have a bad day, Stephen and I will both be here for you, just as we always are,” he promised me.

I nodded and tightened my hand around his, allowing Seth to take me away from the only home I’d ever known to the house that I now got to call mine.

Aweek later, I had settled into a routine of sorts. I got up in the mornings and made breakfast with Stephen. By then, Seth normally rolled out of bed, and then, we all ate breakfast together before Stephen rolled out for work, dropping a kiss to the top of my head before reminding me to call him if I needed anything. The routine helped to keep me steady and grounded.

Seth wrapped his arms around me from behind, nuzzling his neck into the curve of my neck. His hands rested on my swollen belly, but I tried not to pay it any mind.

I still wasn’t on board with this whole baby thing, no matter how much I did try.

It fucked with me too much. I thought it would get better after Seth stepped back into the picture, but it hadn’t.

It felt like a block stopped me from being happy with this baby, even when it moved around and kicked me.

Every milestone normal moms-to-be loved, I dreaded.

“You look sexy as fuck,” he rasped, turning me to face him.

I leaned up a little, raising my lips to his. He closed the distance between us and kissed me hungrily, backing me up against the pool wall, his muscular, toned body pressing against mine. His hands ran over my bare skin, his lips moving against my neck.

I whimpered, clawing at his back when he untied my top, letting it flutter down to the water. His mouth descended, and I moaned when his lips wrapped around my nipple. My breasts were so tender, and I was so eager for his touch.

“Seth,” I whimpered.

“Yes, baby girl,” he rasped, his voice vibrating against my sensitive breasts.

My bottoms went next, and they floated up to the top of the pool, slowly floating away from us. His fingers found my slit, and he groaned, sinking two fingers deep inside of me.

“Yes,” I moaned, gripping his shoulders, my head falling back on my shoulders.
