“If you come on my fingers right now, Vera”—Blaise glared at Jim still as he curled his fingers against my G-spot over and over, driving me freaking wild—“I’m going to fucking punish you, and even your filthy mind won’t like it.”

“L-leave, J-Jim.”

Blaise snapped his head back to me, pumping his fingers as fast as he could. It was like he wanted me to tip over the edge right here and right now, so he could punish me. The pressure rose higher and higher in my core, my legs shaking.

“Don’t ever say his name again while you’re about to come.”

“I-I’m sorry,” I whispered, knitting my brows together and throwing my head back, desperately attempting to hold back my orgasm. “P-please leave right now. I-I don’t know how much longer I can—”

“Fucking hell,” Jim said, scurrying back. “Remind me never to come to the library again.”

“Next time you flirt with my girl, I’ll fucking kill you,” Blaise snarled at him.

When the library doors closed, Blaise nestled back between my legs. He pulled my ass to the edge of my seat and posted my feet on the counter, spreading my legs wider. My pussy pulsed with pleasure, the pressure building higher and higher.

“Mine.” He buried his face between my legs and found my clit with his tongue. “You’re mine.”

“Please,” I whispered. “Can I … can I come?”

“Tell me you’re mine.”

“Y-yours.”

Blaise curled his fingers one last time against my G-spot and ordered that I come for him. I slapped a hand over my mouth and stared down at him as he continued to lick my clit, driving another wave of ecstasy through my body.

“I’m yours.”

ChapterForty-Three

BLAISE

After spending all day with Vera, I parked my car in the garage and smiled foolishly at the steering wheel. Still, I couldn’t believe that she’d actually walked all the way to the skatepark today to find me because she’d wanted to see me.

I tucked my keys into my pocket and slipped out of the car, slinging my backpack over my shoulder and heading for the foyer.

Somehow, that woman had convinced me to actually show her my YouTube channel.

Nobody in Redwood knew about it, especially my parents. They wouldn’t understand why I wanted to create videos and build my own brand instead of taking over Dad’s stupid business that he spent more time with than his family.

“Blaise!” Mom screamed when I stepped into the house. “Where have you been?”

Not wanting to deal with her shit right now, I yanked my headphones out of my backpack, slipped them over my ears, and turned on some pop punk music to drown out her shrill voice. Then, I continued through the house to the stairs.

Mom stood in the living room, blocking the stairs, with fury written across her fake face. She screamed at me. Thank fuck that I had the noise-canceling function on my headphones, so I didn’t have to hear her.

Before I could pass her, she ripped the headphones right off my ears and bent the headband with so much force that they physically snapped in half.

I tore them away from her, rage rushing through me. “What the fuck?!”

“You skipped the fucking dinner!” Mom shouted at me, shoving me back. “How many fucking times did I remind you about it? I fucking needed you there tonight. We’re trying to secure a huge business deal. What the hell is wrong with you?”

“I told you that I wasn’t going!”

“You have nothing in that head of yours.” She seethed, picking up a wine bottle from the coffee table that she must’ve been drinking. She waved the bottle at me. “Fucking nothing. I bet you were at the skatepark today, weren’t you? Ruining your fucking life with those no-good kids from the slums. If you don’t get your act together, you’ll never be able to run your father’s business.”

“I don’t want to run Dad’s business,” I said between gritted teeth. I gripped my broken headphones in my hand. I’d be able to buy new ones, but that wasn’t the point. These headphones were the only thing keeping me sane here. “I don’t know how many times I have to tell you that. It’s not like you listen to anything I tell you anyway, Caroline.”

“You disgust me,” she said, forgoing a wineglass and taking a sip right from the bottle. “You’re grounded, Blaise. You’re not allowed to go to the skatepark anymore or hang out with anyone from the slums. Do you understand me?”
