Or maybe, what we both wanted.

“Anyway, the stuff?”

She pointed past me, toward a stack of boxes near the front door that I’d missed on the way in.

“That’s it. Just those three.”

“Oh, no problem at all.” Without another word, I stepped over to the cardboard boxes, squatted down and slipped my fingers under the bottom of the lowest.

“Be careful – they’re heavier than they look. There’s a dolly in the closet if you—”

I didn’t need any of that. I lifted the boxes up from the ground and began carrying them outside.

“Or you could do that. Either works.”

Once I reached the truck, I hoisted the boxes into the bed and went to both sides to strap them down. A blue tarp covered the back third of the bed, and after getting Dream’s attention, I pointed it out.

“See that?”

“Yeah – what is it?”

“Last time I went to the farmer’s market I got burned up like crazy. That’s a tent you can use for your setup. Trust me – even when it’s cloudy, you can still get sunburned, and it can help keep the sun out of your eyes while you work.

“Oh my God,” she said, clasping her hands together. “I can’t believe I didn’t think of that.”

Before I could react, she turned and threw her arms around me, giving me a squeeze. Her perky tits pressed against my arm, and sure enough, my cock went hard.

“My pleasure. Now, you ready to do this?”

“Ready.”

After double-checking to make sure everything was strapped down good and tight, I opened the door for Dream and helped her up the big step into the truck. Seated in the cab of the massive truck she looked even more petite than she usually did, her legs barely reaching all the way to the floor.

Soon we were off. The beach wasn’t too far away and when we arrived there were already dozens and dozens of people there setting up their stands. I parked on the lot and went for the boxes.

“Not a chance,” she said, reaching toward my arm. “I’m carrying one of th—” She set her hand down on mine and the moment she did, it was like electricity ran through us. I turned, my eyes locking onto hers. Dream’s mouth was open slightly, her expression one of shock, as if she were just as surprised by what was happening between us as I was.

For a long, perfect moment, there was nothing but her and me, her hand on my skin, the sea air thick with salt all around us.

Dream cleared her throat, snapping us both out of the moment.

“Um, what I was going to say was that I’m carrying at least one of these boxes. Not a chance I’m letting you take them all.” Before I could react, she opened the truck bed and undid the straps holding the boxes in place. She bent over to grab the nearest one, drawing my eye right to her ass draped in her light skirt.

Once she had the box in hand, I could tell by the strained look on her face that she wasn’t quite ready to hold it. She shifted her hands, trying to maintain her grip.

“Now,” she said, nodding her head toward the other boxes. “Put one of those other ones on this.”

I laughed. “You’re out of your mind if you think I’m giving you another one. Come on – we’ve got to carry this stuff all the way to the beach.”

“But—”

“Aren’t you painting?” I asked. “Don’t you want to keep your arm in good shape for that?”

She shifted the weight of the box from one arm to the other as she considered my words.

“Yeah. I guess you’re right.”

I laughed. “Of course, I’m right.” I leaned forward and grabbed the other boxes along with the tent kit.
