Liam

The dayI’ve been waiting for dawns stormy and wild. Just like my temper. I am going out of my mind. For the last week while we waited for the preacher to have time and for all the paperwork to be taken care of, she’s been driving me insane.

I stare out the window at the dark thunderclouds rolling across the plains heading right for my ranch. “Please don’t let this mess up the wedding because if I don’t marry that woman soon, I’m going to lose my mind.”

I’ve been tap-dancing around the desire that’s radiating off of my body like a nuclear cloud. I’ve been wallowing in it every night. The thrumming, aching storm of need that’s kept me up every time I lie down. It got so bad that last night, I couldn’t wait. My mind kept picturing her beautiful, golden body under me. Light tan glistening in the moonlight, hair a dark cloud spread over my pillow and plump pink lips screaming for me, begging for me. I grabbed my dick hard and closed my eyes, picturing her on her knees in front of me, her long hair twisted around my fist. Driving into her hard. So damn hard. And she begged for more. Harder, deeper, faster. She wanted it all. And I wanted to give it to her. My dick glistened with her juices and I slapped her ass, watching the mounded flesh under my fingers shake and turn pink with my handprint. Her head turned towards me and her blue eyes flashed with desire, her dark lashes fluttering. I leaned over and kissed her lips, twisting her hair, hearing her moan.

“Liam, please!” she begged me. Her ass pushed back into my cock and then I lost it, jerking at my aching rod faster, rubbing it practically raw with the fury of my lust. I groaned when my balls tightened and then I shot stream after stream of my seed all over that damn bed. My chest tightened painfully. I wasted my seed. Fuck, I thought I had more control than this. But that little girl drags me around by the balls without even knowing it.

My dick tightens in my jeans and I shift, groaning painfully. Shit! I can’t take it anymore. The aching, twisting lust is too much for me. I step towards the stairs like a zombie. Eyes focused on the stairs, one step, then another. And another. I’m so close. So close to the heaven I know waits in her arms, in her sweet little body.

My head whips around when there’s a loud banging at the door. Frustration roars through me, pricking at my self-control. I stomp over to the door.

“What the fuck do you want?” My angry roar trails off at the passel of people standing around with shit-eating grins on my front porch. Including Clay and his wife, who’s supposed to be on bed rest.

“What the hell is Spring doing up?” I growl, crossing my arms and leaning on the door frame.

“The doctor gave me a new medication and said that I can do limited things. Including a wedding for our nearest neighbor.” She smiles and Clay shoves me aside, almost knocking me to the floor.

“She needs to sit though so move your ass.”

I step back and all of them shove their way in the door. “I didn’t say I wanted company, you know,” I growl.

“I know,” Carson grins. “But we just couldn’t let you get married without your family here.”

“I don’t have any family left, Carson. I think you’re confused.” I stalk over and help Clay lower a very rotund Spring to the recliner so she can put up her feet.

Clay growls at me and I grin and let my hand fall off of Spring’s ankle where I helped her get settled.

“My, you’re a little grumpy today, man.” My shit-eating grin seems to wind him up further.

“Don’t touch my wife,” he growls and I laugh loudly.

“Give me a break, Clay,” she grunts, trying to get settled, her hands settling on her big belly. “Liam is getting married today. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t want a big old pregnant lady.”

Actually, she looks beautiful. Her eyes and skin glow with health and happiness. There’s something magical about a woman who’s pregnant. Something mystical that makes her seem lighter, brighter and just more.

“You look beautiful, Spring. I can’t wait to see Candy all big and round and glowing with happiness.”

Clay glowers at me. “You can tell your own woman that she looks beautiful. Keep your comments about my wife to yourself unless you want me to hand you your head on a silver platter.”

I snort. “Please. You don’t scare me! After all, you’re my family, remember?”

Wyatt chimes up from where he’s propping up a wall with his girlfriend, Tempest standing in front of his big body, her head leaning back into his shoulder, his arms wrapped around her. “Family can be more dangerous than total strangers, man. Just saying.”

I shoot him a sullen look. “Honestly, I’m still confused as to why you’re all here.”

“Well, I figured you did absolutely nothing for today besides get a preacher. So Toni and Tempest insisted on coming out here to help Candy get ready and support her since you said she doesn’t have any family.”

“Oh.” A flush cruises up my face. “I see. Well, that’s very nice of the girls but what are you guys here for?”

Wyatt and Carson grin. “Moral support, man. You’re probably going to need it. I bet you fall apart up there in front of the preacher.”

The only thing I’m going to do is try to keep a tight rein on the lust that’s driving the beast in me up and out. Try to keep it under wraps until I’ve got Candy alone.

And then once we’re alone and she’s mine, all bets are off. I’m going to plant my seed and get my woman pregnant as quickly as I can. Because that’s the best way I can see to keep her tied to me.

I want her tied to me. Hell, if I could, I’d handcuff her pretty ass to me. But I’m pretty sure that if somebody noticed I’d have to explain and it would just be a big pain in my ass.
