“I don’t know what to say…”

“Say yes, Moth-girl. Say yes,” he pleads, letting go of me and going down on his knees in front of me. “Say you’ll be my wife.”

He’s not holding me. I could walk away. I could hold onto my doubt, my fear and the hurt. I could do all of those. But, I don’t. I do what any red-blooded American girl would do when she’s faced with the one dream she’s had since she hit puberty. The one dream that she never truly out grew.

“Yes,” I cry, hurling myself at him and holding him with all the strength I have left in my body. I don’t even think twice about it.

Why would I?

I love Gavin O’Leary with all my heart. I always have and I always will.

Two Days Later

“You’re looking entirely too pleased with yourself, Gavin O’Leary.”

I shake my head, covering my mouth as I yawn and stretch my deliciously used body and snuggle into the pillow.

“What man wouldn’t be when his woman is lying in his bed looking worn out and well loved?” he says with a grin as he struts back over to the bed.

He’s got a towel hung at an angle on his hip, his hair is wet and he looks so unbelievably sexy that my heart stutters in my chest.

I give him a smile and reach up to meet him so I can kiss his lips.

“What’s that look for, sweetheart?” he asks.

“What look?”

“Don’t play games, Moth-girl. What are you thinking?”

“That I really do love you, Gavin. That in some form or another I always have and I’m really glad I met you again after all this time.”

His eyes go soft and he sits down on the edge of the bed and pulls me so that I’m draped over his lap and my head is cradled against his chest. His hand comes under my chin, his thumb brushing against my bottom lip.

“If I could go back to that night at the football field, I would have kissed you, told Bella to find her own way home, and never let you go, Casey Langley.”

Tears sting my eyes. “I’ll be Casey O’Leary soon,” I remind him feeling so much pleasure in those words that it hurts to breathe. It should be against the law to be this happy.

“It can’t happen soon enough for me,” he responds and his eyes are like liquid pools. I could lose myself in them they’re so deep. He’s telling me the truth, I believe him immediately.

“Me either,” I admit. “We could go to Vegas after your obligations to this movie wraps up,” I suggest bravely.

“You’d be okay with that?”

“More than okay,” I admit.

“I thought every girl wanted a big fancy wedding with all the trimmings,” he says studying my face.

I immediately shake my head no.

“I don’t want anything but you, Gavin. That’s it.”

“Then as soon as the obligations are done with this movie, you and I are on our way to Vegas, Moth-girl.”

“It can’t happen soon enough for me,” I breathe, as Gavin shifts so I’m lying on the mattress.

He stands up, looking down at me with a cocky smirk on his face as he unhooks his towel and lets it fall to the floor. My eyes rake over his body and I want to purr with contentment.

“God, you’re beautiful, Gavin. I can’t believe you’re all mine.”

“I think that’s my line, baby.”

“It’s not a line, it’s the God’s honest truth,” I counter, letting my elbows press into the mattress as I lean up to watch him. He goes down on his knees in front of the bed. I frown, because that’s not exactly what I expected. “Gavin, sweetheart, you already proposed. You don’t have to do that again—especially while we’re both naked—that’s not a story I want to relay to our children one day.”

“I’m not proposing again. You said yes, baby. There’s no way I’m going to ask again and risk you saying no this time.”

“Like that could happen,” I laugh, but quickly my laugh ends in a moan as he pulls my legs apart and lifts them up on his shoulders. “Gavin,” I whimper.

“What is it baby?” he croons, moving in closer so that the heated breath fans against my center.

“I need you.”

“You have me, Casey. You will always have me,” he assures me.

Before I can respond he pulls the lips of my pussy apart, flattens his tongue and gets to work showing me just how much I do have him.

I don’t know how I got so lucky, but I’ll never stop giving thanks. It might have taken me and Gavin a lot of years before we were ready for one another, but there’s no doubt in my mind that what we have is forever.

Two Months Later

“I can’t believe you’re getting married,” Titan says shaking his head. He, White, and Aden are here in Vegas with me and Casey. Kayla will be coming in later today.
