I laugh. “And how did you get up here then, huh?”

“Creed was left to guard and I switched nights with him.” Kai shrugs like it’s no big deal. I let go of Trace’s hard-on and slide my hands out from under the blanket.

“Let’s shower and go downstairs before Brennan gets hurt.”

Kai slips out of the room as both Trace and I get in the shower. A naked Trace is a glorious sight: his colourful tattoos, his muscles, the deep V. I avert my eyes from staring straight at his cock. Nope, I lied, I can’t help it.

“Jolie, eyes up here,” he says with a laugh.

“I can’t help it; these lines point right to the goods.” I run my fingers down the deep channels, and he moans, his hard cock pressed tightly against his stomach. I drop to my knees and look up at him, water falling down my face, waiting for him to tell me to stop. He doesn’t. I use my hand to stroke him a few times. Leaning forward, I lick my way to his head, sucking it into my mouth. Trace tangles one hand in my hair and the other is raised above his head, leaning against the tiles holding him up. He guides my head up and down at a pace that works for him. I want nothing more than to wrap my legs around his waist and fuck him senseless, but I respect the fact that he wants to wait.

The closer he gets, the faster he thrusts. “Oh fuck,” he groans. His thrusts are short and his length swells in my mouth until cum squirts down my throat.

Trace pulls me to my feet and hugs me to his body. “You’re perfect,” he whispers. “I’m sorry I’m not ready yet.”

“Don’t apologise. I will wait as long as you need and I’m happy to do a repeat of that again.”

And it’s true, I will be patient with him. I would be an asshole if I didn’t. I have nine other guys that would dick me in two seconds flat.

“I like your tattoo,” he says. I turn so he can see it better. Kai’s been working tirelessly on it and we finally finished it yesterday. I love the fact that we heal super fast. It isn’t instant healing but after twenty-four hours I was good to go again.

Once we are washed and dressed, we head downstairs to make sure Chester doesn’t give Brennan an aneurysm.

Everyone is already gathered in the kitchen eating breakfast. “How did you sleep?” Case asks, taking my hand and pulling me to his lap.

“She was restless all night, tossing and turning.”

“My damn nipples are sore and I’m crampy. I think I’m due for my period.”

A bunch of groans fills the air. “Sucks to be the ones who have the next seven days,” Kai laughs.

“I’m not opposed to blood,” Laughn grumbles, taking a bite of his toast.

“Her mouth doesn’t bleed,” Davis adds and I flip him off.

“What have I gotten myself into?” I mumble to myself.

Case pulls me into his chest. “We can run away and hide from these animals.”

I snort. “Somehow I think they would hunt us down and drag me back.”

“We need to leave to be on time.” Brennan states.

“Brenny, with how much these assholes will make from this, they can wait five minutes.” Davis laughs.

Laughn hands me a piece of his toast and we all get up and go to the garage. I get in with Brennan; I think he needs someone to ease his anxiety.

“Is Ziyon coming today?” I ask as we drive away from the property.

“Yes, today is the day the lawyers will have everything sorted. Mr. Z had a will and it'll be read today.”

I don’t know why I’m nervous. I barely had a relationship with the man but something deep down inside wishes that I could have had normal parents.

The drive to the city isn’t long, and we all park in an underground parking garage. Ziyon is already waiting for us with Melinda by his side. I suppose now that the biggest threat has been eliminated, it’s safe for her to leave their underground home.

“Jolie, it’s nice to see you again.”

“You too, Melinda. Now we might actually be able to get to know each other.”
