Rick’s shoulders tightened as he took it, only to loosen in relief after he scanned it. Purely by chance, Olivia was on his team. He kept his voice casual. “You’re not having Olivia lead a group?”
“Do you think she’ll be insulted? Frida told me she hasn’t done this before, so I didn’t want her to be out of her depth. I figured I’d put her with you because you know the area so well. Is that all right?”
“It’s perfect.”
In addition to Olivia, Rick’s team included TJ. Not ideal. No doubt the guy would use the long drives to regale them with more of his dig stories. The other two team members were Brynn and Marisol, neither of whom he knew very well.
“This looks good,” he said. “I don’t see any potential for conflict. Then again, people reveal more of themselves when they’re out in the field.”
Dr. Roth chuckled. “Too true. But since the list meets your approval, can you take it over to Grant?”
