“They’ve been traveling, but will be back tomorrow.”

“See to it Sorcha knows. She’ll be sure to invite them to dinner.”

“This was such a good idea.Thank you,” Sera said when I asked her to take a walk with me. “Especially inviting Jada over.”

“I’m glad it worked out. While I know Press would’ve preferred your sister remain at Seahorse, Sorcha Butler will make all three of you feel at home here.”

She studied me.

“What?” I asked.

“Why do you think Press would prefer Luisa remain at Seahorse?”

“Uh, I guess he’s being a bit of a mother hen.”

“Not the way I ever would’ve described Press,” she said, laughing.
