“They all require grapes now used in the Vineyard Twenty-Seven Blend.”

“Maybe the new wine will be better.”

She raised a brow. “You arranged for me to work for your family’s business. Now you’re making sure my mother has an income stream. I sense you’ll ensure it whether you actually use the formulas or not. What’s next? Are you planning to give Luisa a job too?”

“She is close to graduating summa cum laude with an MBA. Who wouldn’t consider her an asset to their organization?”

“Noah…I appreciate all of it, but it’s too much.”

I took the glass from her hand and set it, along with mine, on the table where we’d shared our picnic dinner.

I wrapped her in my arms and stared into her eyes. “It could never be enough for me to show you what you mean to me.”

Her gaze stayed riveted to mine.

“I love you, Seraphina Reeve.”

“I love you, Noah Ridge.”

While I’d told myself I’d been in love with Alex Avila, now I knew I never was. It was as though once my heart was released from the ties I’d kept around it for so long, I could finally experience real love. I’d never felt freer or happier.

When we kissed, it wasn’t simply sharing that love; it signified everything standing between us falling away. What remained were two people who’d started out believing we were adversaries, realizing instead we were soulmates.

“The day you and I first stood on this deck together, I had a fantasy.”

“So did I.”

“Tell me what it was, Sera.”

She shook her head. “You go first.”

“Better if I show you.”

One by one, I unfastened the buttons on her shirt, then eased it off her shoulders. I reached behind and unhooked her bra.

She wove her fingers in my hair when I knelt in front of her. “I like your fantasy.”

“It doesn’t bother you that we’re out in the open?”

“It isn’t like anyone can see us from here, Noah. And even if they could, I don’t think I could bring myself to care.”

“Let’s get these off,” I said, leaning down to remove her shoes. I unfastened her jeans and pulled them along with her panties over the curve of her lush ass and down her legs.

I drank in the sight of Sera standing naked before me, the sunset’s glow bathing her in warm, soft light. She was so beautiful, so perfect. It was hard for me to tear my eyes away. My mouth, though, was too eager for a taste.

“Tell me what you want, Sera,” I said before my lips found the tip of her breast. I blew cool air on it, then circled it with my tongue before capturing it with my teeth. “More of that?” I asked when her hands pulled at my hair.

“Yes, God, more,” she pleaded.

In the same way I’d pictured it, I ran my tongue down past her belly button. Then spread her legs, licking up and down, exploring her with my mouth. The sounds of her pleasure mixed with the crashing waves of the ocean far beneath us. When I gently sucked her clit, Seraphina’s cries echoed through See Canyon.

I felt her legs giving out, gathered her in my arms, and carried her over to the daybed.

“Lie still and watch,” I said when she reached out for me. I pulled my shirt over my head, then unfastened my belt and jeans, letting them fall to the floor after I’d toed off my shoes.

Her heated gaze ran the length of me, and my already stiff cock grew steel-like. She licked her lips and put her hand between her spread legs.

“That’s mine now, Sera.”
