Dad drops us off at the academy the next day, being all sappy toward Killian, Derrick and me. I roll my eyes, stepping out of the car.
I see Ledger, sitting with a few friends and Hazen. Ledger’s blood-red eyes meet mine. I remember the good sex we had together, and I bit my lips.
“Hey, there’s Ledger,” I hear my father say behind me.
Ledger waves, making me snort.
“Your boyfriend waved back. Aw.”
“Not my boyfriend, Dad.” I roll my eyes.
Then Fenric climbs into the front seat. “Oh, there’s Hazen!”
“Hazen?” My father questions. “The one that you don’t stop talking about. Maybe I should go say hi.”
“No,” I snap, sending him a glare.
“That’s okay, because here he comes with Ledger.”
I twist to see them. I didn’t feel embarrassed, although I act like it.
Both guys are tall and hot as fuck. Hazen is slightly shorter, but only by a few inches. Ledger’s faded shaved sides lead up to his messy black hair. His jaw has a bandage on it and a bruise formed, but nothing serious. He is wearing black pants and the black school logo short sleeve shirt. Why does he make it look so… sexy?
Hazen is just as bad. His Mohawk-like hairstyle leaves the top and back very messy. Piercings layer his ears and nose. He’s wearing the same as Ledger, but with boots and a few chains. I want to fan myself.
“Hi, Hazen!” Fen belts as soon as they are close enough.
Hazen holds out hand to give a high five. “What’s up, little man?”
My father steps beside me, the same height as them. He did that on purpose; he used his magic to be taller. “Hello. Fenric and Asura seem to be obsessed with you.”
Hazen smiles very charmingly and shakes my father’s hand. “It’s nice to meet you, sir.”
“Ledger, nice to see you again.” Then he shakes Ledger’s hand.
“Same to you,” Ledger says. It was almost odd to be so respectful as he was asking to see the thong that I was wearing just this morning.
“Hazen, I’d love to have you over for dinner one of these days.”
Hazen’s bright blue eyes widen. “In… Hell?”
He nods. “I think we are going to have dinner soon. I’ll let Asura know when to invite you.”
He nods. “Yeah, that’d be great.”
My father smiles. “Got to get the little one to school. Nice to see you guys!”
We say our goodbyes as my father drives Fen to his school, leaving the three of us. I start at the academy, and they follow.
“Are you wearing your red thong?” Hazen asks, touching the back of my thighs.
I hit his hand away. “Ledger just tells you everything, huh?” I glare at Ledger who is just smiling.
Hazen chuckles, stopping me and he leans in. “I thought you wanted to be shared, princess. Don’t change your mind now.” He whispers it right into the shell of my ear and it makes me shudder. “Have a good day, princess.” He walks away.
I look at Ledger who says, “I’m going to enjoy this teasing.”
