“Nope,” I say, throwing the jacket over my head and taking off to the shed. Jigsaw catches up quickly and we sprint until we make it there.

Jigsaw opens the door and begins ordering people to take off. They all listen, sprinting with cries in the air. When Killian moves to run, I put the jacket over his head.

“Go.”

He nods at me, eyes worried. I’m his big sister, and I will do anything for him, even take the acid rain against my back. Killian takes off and we follow. I feel each burn against my back that the rain hits.

The group all get into the door, and I see a flash behind me. I glance to see a lightning bolt coming our way. I shout at everyone to get further into the dorm, twisting to open the door for Jigsaw. They push further into the dorm building until I can’t see any of them as I reach out for him. Lightning flashes right under his feet. He leaps through the air, grabbing my arm and boom!

The ground rips open right where his feet are supposed to land.

Our hands wrap around each other and I prepare myself, bracing my legs on the walls as he lands inside the cliff. I jerk forward but not as hard as I thought I would. He catches his fall on the ledge. Quickly, I use my strength to pull him up and he helps with his free hand. Finally, he makes it over the ledge and my body collapses on the floor, pulling his on top of mine. Half of him collapses on top of me.

“Fuck.” I groan, pushing on his bare shoulder. “You’re fat.”

He scoffs, supporting himself on his elbows. His wet black hair hangs down in our faces. Slowly, a smile runs across his lips, flashing his canine teeth. I return the smile, feeling my stomach flutter from his smile. He lets out a chuckle. “H-how are we alive?”

I shake my head, still breathing hard. “No idea…”

“Are you hurt?” he asks, making me look up. He looks over my body again.

“I’m okay. Thank you.”

He gets up on his knees, running his ringed fingers through his hair. Before he can even say anything, something flies through the air and hits his shoulder. My eyes widen as blood begins to leak from the wound the throwing knife made.

He growls heavily, twisting.

I twist around, and at the end of the dorm hall, I see a person with a mask. They reel back and are about to throw another.

Jigsaw’s arm wraps around my body and he lunges out of the way toward the stairs. “Go!”

Stumbling up the stairs, I round it, heading up the next set of stairs. Another person with a dagger sits there, waiting for me. They swing and I duck, tackling them to the next flat level in the stairs.

Who are these people? What do they want?

I reel back, punching them hard.

“Another flash!” Jigsaw shouts, struggling.

The one below me reaches for the dagger that scattered from us when I tackled them. I lift my leg, kicking it further down the hall.

Their fist punches my thigh.

“Asura!” Jigsaw shouts, and I almost wonder what he thinks I can do.

Then I hear the cracking of the Earth. I rush down the flight of steps just as he grabs onto the railing on my flight. The stairs that are below him completely open to a giant cliff.

“Watch out!” he orders.

I turn to see the masked person coming my way. I dodge their attacks, narrowly getting hit by the blade. Twisting, I kick them backward again.

“I’m slipping.”

Fuck!

Turning, I see Jigsaw’s wet hands giving out. I lunge for his hand, grabbing it through the bars of the railing when his hands gave out. My head slams into the bar, making me very dizzy. But I hold onto Jigsaw, feeling my fingers tingle with pain.

I need help.
