I used her to help Jigsaw.

When Inarian stays quiet, I nod. “Thought so, dickhead.”

He growls at me.

I hate to admit that my core pulses at that. It’s deep and primal, rippling through me.

He scoffs, probably at me being turned on by it. He stands from the bench, leading himself out of the room. My eyes run over his body quickly. He’s tall, wearing a tight fitting, silky black shirt that hugs each one of his curves. The black sweats he has on are a bit tight, making his ass look round and thighs thick.

I bite my lip.

He’s an asshole, but at least he’s easy on the eyes. Then I remember his scars, and I still wonder what they are from.

I move to sit next to Hazen on the bench, grabbing my drink and sipping it. Jigsaw is the only one missing from the group, but he’s with my brother. He’s been hanging out with him the most; either trying to be his new favorite instead of Hazen or trying not to see me.

“We will be done for today. Tomorrow, you’ll resume normal classes,” Khazon says as if I didn’t know that.

I put my head on Hazen’s shoulder, feeling the shocks of electricity running through me. I’ve grown to like them. I can tell that Hazen likes that. He likes when I lay on him and that I don’t mind the jolt of electricity. It feels like a slight zap each time we touch.

Ledger pats my head as he moves to the door to the inside. I get up, sending Hazen a quick look before following. It’s lunch time and I’m ready to eat.

Almost like clockwork, Fen is helping Dad plate the table in the dining room of the lunch they prepared. Dad has been around non-stop, sending Death on the mission to figure out which mage would have helped the people who attacked me.

So far, the powerful ones are unable to do something like that.

Ledger sits on my left and Hazen sits on my right, and that’s how it’s always been. I actually don’t mind it.

Jigsaw happened to accidentally sit across from me. His lime green eyes meet my dark ones. His hair is up today, exposing his neck and all the tattoos that run up his skin. My eyes wander down his body that I can see, taking in the sleeveless tank top. Jigsaw has tattoos of various poisonous things along his body. I can only tell because I notice the bright purple nightshade and the cobra snake that crawls around his arms.

He’s gotten more comfortable at my house, but he’s still hesitant when Fen touches him. Hazen and Ledger both agree they’ve never seen him in a tank top aside from when he’s in his dorm and no one is around. Then when Hazen shows up, he puts on a jacket.

But the way his muscles form along his forearm, I hope he never covers them up again. I want to try to wrap my arms around them while he’s thrusting against me.

I break eye contact, sipping my drink. I get looks from Ledger about Inarian, but it’s not telling me,stop going into heat every time you see them.

It’s more like, really? Him of all people?

“How’s training been?” my father asks, sitting at the head of the table.

I shrug. “Getting there.”

My father nods. He moves on to talking to the guys about what they are going to do when they get back to the academy. It feels almost unreal to have them all not living with me once we go back. I want them to stay. I’ve grown used to Inarian’s cold exterior and Jigsaw’s toxic mouth. But I can't think of a single thing to get them to stay.

As if Hazen can sense something, his hand touches my thigh and gives it a squeeze. This will be the last time all of us live together. I can probably sleep in their rooms, but my bed is big enough for all three of us…

I lick my lips, letting my imagination run wild. Lunch comes to an end, and I just want to shower. Both hounds lead the way to my bedroom. Hazen is about to break off from Ledger and I, but I grab his hand and jerk my chin.

His brows raise, but he doesn’t question my motives. Lately, I’ve been bouncing between both of their rooms, sleeping with one every night. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of them. But sometimes Ryker’s mouth crosses my mind when Hazen bites me. Their teeth might feel the same. Or the thought of Ozias’s veiny hands running over me.

Ledger and Hazen both enter my room, leaving me alone for a moment in the hall.

Jigsaw watches me, chest heaving a bit.

“You can join too,” I say with a smirk crawling across my lips.

He scoffs. “No thanks, Asura.”

“Are you sure, Jiggie?”
