“Touché. What were you doing in here?”

“Well, this was the first place I seen, and I kind of gotlost in here.”

She grabbed my hand, pulling me in the room with my eyes glued to her ass. She’d gotten dressedin a pair of blue jean shorts,a small orangeT-shirt, and a pair of orange Nike shoes. She was so country, and I liked it…a lot.Ifuckedher hair up last night, so she sleeked it back into apuffat the back of her neck. I think I liked that style more.Shit, maybe I just liked her, and no matter how she wore it, I was going to like it.

“Mr. Dymon, you don’t strike me as a man who watches much TV. So, to see this roomfull of movies,Ithought I could figure out what kind of person you areby what type of movies you watch. I never thought I’d see so manyRomComsin here. I’m also surprised to see so many DVDs in here.”

“Well, I entertain a lot of women, Quinci. So, yeah. Even though everything is streaming now, one day, they’ll be worth a lot of money. I mean…maybe not for me or our children, but—”

She whipped her head around and grinned.

“What?”

“Our children, Mr. Dymon?”

“Freudian slip, but… I am very strongly ignoring that Cheshire grin on your face. Anyway, they will be worth something for maybe, like, my kids’ grandkids or something. I don’t touch them. Just keep them dusted.”

“Oh, that’s nice. So, when you’re entertaining… what does a night like that look like?” She grabbed my hand, leading me out of the room, dragging me down the hall.

“So, what did that man want? He lookedkindascary. Like he in the mob or something. His black suit was crisper than yours.”

I chuckled. “Your mind really runs a million miles a minute. And you and your sneaky ass insultsgon’ get you put in a chokehold. We get our custom suits from the samefuckin’ place.”

She sighed before turning around. “Mr. Dymon, just because I compliment another man, that is not taking away from your handsomeness.” She huggedand kissed me again. “You are in a lane of your own.But you know that, though. You just love getting compliments, don’t you? Big head ass. Come.” She grabbed my hand again and continued down the hall.

“So, about entertaining women—ah!” she squealed. “You have a pool!” She letmy hand go to walk out the door.

“Wait, I have to—”

When she pushed the door open, the alarm went off, scaringher.

Using my phone, I turned the alarm off.

“Jesus, why do you have that if it’s just you and the women you be entertaining? You know, I wouldn’t put it past you, Ryan, and Price to havealot ofwomen running through hereliketheyareon Flavor of Love, waitingfor their time to get the Danger Thrashing.”

Thatme mademe laugh so hard. It was even funnier because she wasn’t laughing. She walked outsideand then peeked at me in the glass. She even cupped her face against the glass. It was heavily tinted, so she couldn’t see through the glass. When I pulled the door, she jumped.

“Is it okayif I never leave?”

When she poked herbottomlip out, I mirrored herexpression.

“The world is yours, Princess.”

Shesmiled right before pressing her hand against her stomach. “Whoa.”

“Youokay?” I grabbed her arm.

“No. I feel a little nauseated. Probably the Plan B.”

“You need food orsomething to drink?”

“Probably just something to drink, and to lay down for a few, but we’ll needlunch, right? And maybe some dinner too. Do you cook, Mr. Dymon?”

“Alright. Let’s go inside, woman.” I grabbed her hand, leading her inside.

“You’re not takingthat again, Princess, especially if it makes you feel like this.”

“Oh my God. You’re treating me like a helpless person. I’m just a little nauseated. Something that happens all the time when I forget to eat or don’t eat enough. You know I like being treated like a baby. I will fake sickeveryday ifyou treat me like this.”
