The kiss that follows sears through me. We keep kissing as he starts thrusting again—hard, passionate thrusts that bring us to simultaneous earth-shattering orgasms. As he spills into me, I feel our fate seal.

This love of ours is going to last forever.

Chapter Seven

Epilogue - Felicity

Three Months Later

“Ready, gorgeous?” my friend Leah asks as she circles around me, checking my dress again. She’s gone over it a hundred times, but she’s insistent on how perfect it has to be.

You’d think this washerwedding instead of mine.

I yearn to place a hand on my stomach, but instead, I just nod. I’ve been ready for this day for a long, long time. I never expected to be pregnant on my wedding day, but hey, that’s just an unexpected surprise.

And I can’t wait for all of our friends and family to find out at the reception tonight.

Behind us, there’s a knock on the door, and my mom steps in. She’s grinning from ear to ear, a little red envelope in her hands.

“Oh, honey,” she says, tearing up. “You look so beautiful.”

“Thanks, Mom.” I give her cheek a kiss. My eyes drop to the envelope again. “What’s that?”

She grins. “It’s from Holt.”

She doesn’t stop grinning as I open it up and read the letter that’s inside. Now it’smyturn to tear up. Holt’s words are so sweet. So full of love.

And, at the bottom of the letter, there’s a key taped to the page.

The house I’ve been working on? It’s ours, sweetheart. If you want to make a life there, it’s ours.

It takes Mom and Leah another ten minutes to fix my makeup, but it’s worth the happy tears.

Before I know it, it’s time for the ceremony—it’s time to wed the man I’m meant to be with. And I’m so grateful that our friends and family are here to witness it. Leah’s daughter, Anna, is utterly adorable as our flower girl; her pale pink dress flows as she walks down the aisle, tossing flower petal after flower petal. Jasper is just as adorable, standing up there with Holt and Cash and the other groomsmen, holding the rings with utmost care. And Dani is standing up with my bridesmaids, her beautiful baby girl sitting on Mom’s lap in the front row.

Dad walks me down the aisle, his head held high as he beams at the crowd. My heart pounds as I look out at everyone here. From a distance, my eyes catch my brother’s, and he gives me a little nod of approval.

I completely get why Holt wanted to respect their bro code. But in the end, when we broke the news about our relationship to my brother, Cash actually took it really well.

Okay, hedidtell Holt that he’d come after him if Holt ever did anything to hurt me.

But hey. That’s a big brother for you.

I barely even hear the processional music that’s playing as I walk down the aisle. I’m lost in reflecting on the past few months, amazed at how quickly everything has moved. Honestly, though? I’m glad it’s all happened so fast. I spent so many years without Holt in my life, and I’m more than ready for us to begin our lives together as man and wife.

I’m finally getting the family I’ve always wanted: an amazing husband and a baby on the way. Holt and his buddies have a bet going on whether it’s going to be a boy or girl. As for me, I don’t care either way. I know I’ll love the baby just as much as I love Holt.

And, hopefully, there will be a few more babies following soon behind.

When I finally reach the altar and look up into Holt’s eyes, I see the same love I feel for him reflected right back at me.

“I love you,” Holt whispers, in that low, velvety voice of his, so quietly that no one other than me can hear him.

I grin at him, happier than I’ve ever been, and whisper the words back to him.
