“Come to my hotel tonight. I want hours getting to know you.” He rubbed his tongue against the fabric. Found the faintest hint of her essence. “All of you.”

He stood and tugged his mask back down over his chin.

“Oh, god,” she said weakly. “Yes, please. But, um, we should probably get back out to the convention first before my friends call a search party.”

He frowned. “Do you think they’re worried?”

“I don’t know, but my phone vibrated against my other boob at least three times.” He could hear the smile in her voice. “I lost count while I was giving you head.”

Despite having just come harder than he could ever remember, his cock twitched to attention again.

No.

Okay, maybe later.

She checked the texts on her phone. “They’re not worried. Just making sure we’ll be there for the cosplay contest. It starts soon.”

He caught her hand in his and squeezed lightly. “Then we’d better get our butts over there, because I intend to win.”

“Oh, really? So funny you should say that, because so do I.”

He grinned, unlocked the door, and held it open for her. “May the best dragon shifter win.”

They tied forthird place. And she was thrilled.

“How cool is this?” Tori accepted the Funko collectible with pure joy and fist-pumped it into the air. “Thank you!”

Aidan seemed equally thrilled.

While this was a newer and smaller Comic Con, the cosplayers had turned out. And she couldn’t possibly be bummed, because the first- and second-place winners had been pretty amazing.

Besides, sharing third with Aidan was kind of cool and intimate. And just another thing that had bonded them in this wild day.

Immediately, the vision of Aidan’s mouth on her breast raced through her head and her pulse quickened.

Dear god, all that stuff they’d done in that storage room.

So hot. So completely fun. And, truthfully, a first for her.

She liked sex, but it was rarely as spontaneous and risky as what had happened in there.

She was careful about the partners she chose, and when and where it would happen. And never a big emotional connection event.

What had happened with Aidan was completely new, and like it or not, there’d been an emotional connection.

Which was a bit scary, if she let herself admit it.

“So, do you have any interest in grabbing dinner? Or...?”

Aidan’s words caressed the back of her head and she stilled, even as her heart raced.

At the end of his question lay the unspoken option to go back to his hotel room instead.

People steadily emptied out of the room where the cosplay contest had been held. Tori spotted her friends nearby talking to a group near the judges.

Did she want to go back to his room?
