Tori had oneleg over the tub when James grabbed her hand and tugged her back in.

When Tori tried to pull away, his grip tightened.

“Wait, she was?” Kris gasped. “Tori, were you really?”
“Time for us to go.” Blake hopped out of the hot tub and reached for his wife.
“No, Blake! Didn’t you hear? OMG, he called her Nadia, and now they’re looking at each other like—oof.” Her words ended on a gasp as Blake tossed her over his shoulder and jogged toward the house.
“Wait, baby, I really want to hear this. It’s just getting exciting. Oh,come on...”
Her voice drifted off as they vanished into the house.
“It was you.”
Tori couldn’t bear to see the dismay and shock in his eyes. Was he disappointed? Horrified?
She was still processing her own shock.
The only thing she could focus on was being cradled in James’s lap. His hard—familiar—chest against her back, and his strong arms looped about her waist. His fingers splayed across her abdomen, before one danced inward to lightly touch her piercing.
