Eva Maas

He just told me I’m incredible.Eva was beyond elated.

Eva was feeling a certain thrill she had never felt before, an unrecognizable tingling sensation overtaking her stomach.Maybe this is what happiness feels like, she thought.

Initially Eva thought she was insane to have decided to reveal emotional truths about herself to Darius. She convinced herself he wouldn’t accept her, because how could he accept someone who didn’t even have her own mother’s acceptance?

But miraculously, he did, calling her brave, impressive, and incredible. Not only that, but he decided to go a step further and give her a birthday. Planning to celebrate a birthday in their future meant he still planned to be in her future after she had opened up to him. She was blown away. For years she wanted to feel what she was feeling at that exact moment. She failed so often, she eventually stopped trying. But all her failed efforts were worth this moment.

Finally, after all these years, she found a friend.

“I can’t remember the last time I was this happy,” she admitted, pressing her hand against her stomach in an attempt to settle its flipping.

His grin widened. He was absolutely stunning. “That makes two of us.”

“Does it?”

He nodded. “Yes, it does.” He tenderly ran a finger down her cheek, his touch exhilarating her. “I like it when you open up to me. Do it more for me,” he commanded, cupping the nape of her neck, triggering arousing thoughts of him, ofthem, to surface.

“And I like it when you smile. Do it more.”

“If that’s all it takes to make you happy…” His voice trailed off as a fiery passion engulfed his features, his attention drawn to her lips.

Eva swallowed, knowing what was about to happen, and dammit she wanted it badly.

When Darius drove his head forward, greedily locking his lips with hers, she accepted his kiss just as he had accepted her.

He held her face tightly to his, as if no amount of distance between them was small enough, while his tongue danced with hers.

Without unlocking his lips from hers, he leaned forward, pushing her down until her back pressed against the side of the plane behind her, the strength of his massive body preventing her from moving anywhere. Their bodies had become just as connected as their lips… just as connected as their minds.

Connected. Yes, for the first time in her life, Eva felt connected to someone else, and the feeling was incredible.

A fleeting feeling of disappointment washed over her when he released her lips and backed away from her. She wanted more of him. The last thing she wanted was for him to stop.

But when she noticed the ravenous way he shamelessly took in every inch of her body, the look in his eyes promising to satisfy all her sinful wishes, she knew the last thought on his mind was stopping.

“Like what you see?” She joked, teasingly stretching out her body across the seat, showcasing every inch of it for him. She was unashamed. If he didn’t run away yet, she didn’t believe he was going to anytime soon. Trusting that he would remain at her side was an unfamiliar yet amazing feeling.

“You make me crazed in the best of ways.” His eyes continued to eat her up. “After tonight, you’ll never question whether or notI like what I seeagain. The answer will always beyes.”

His words drove her wild. She felt the same way about him. He was incredible in the sexiest of ways.

Before she could respond he tightly gripped the back of her head, lifting her from the seat and pushing her against his body, their lips colliding once more. His lips pressed against hers with a ferocity that had her reacting mindlessly.

“More,” she softly moaned. She needed more. He obliged, slipping his tongue into her mouth, entwining it with hers.

“Gods, I want you so much,” he hoarsely whispered against her lips. The feeling was mutual. She never wanted someone as badly as she wanted him, which both excited and terrified her.

When he situated his hand between her legs, his palm kneading the fabric of her jeans withjust enoughpressure, her eyes rolled to the back of her head.

Unable to help herself she looked up to the ceiling above her, releasing her lips from his, which only had him gripping her hair and forcing her to look back down at him. “Still need your kiss.Don’t take it from me. Not yet,” he rasped before bringing their lips together again.

They kissed each other as if they would starve without the other’s touch. As they did, she felt Darius’ fingers trace up to the seam of her pants, settling where her jeans met her stomach. He let his hand rest there, teasing her with what was to come.

When his fingers dipped beneath her jeans, she couldn’t stop herself from breaking the kiss. “Darius,”she called out with need as his fingers dipped further down.

And further…
