“You’re so fucking hot. You’re such a good alpha,” I whisper, my breath huffing. I know they like when I talk like this. Leo always encourages it, especially when it comes to our leader, a man who is in control of our pack who also needs time to decompress. He needs time to let someone else handle things, and I feel so incredibly blessed that he trusts me to help him, even with Leo, who gives in to whatever I want.

Adrian crawls closer, Leo bumping his hips to his ass, riding him until he’s within reach for me to touch. I grab Adrian and get him close enough that I can stroke his cock.

“Come for me,” I say, bouncing on Jonah, making Ezra bend to the side as we tangle ourselves into a cuddle pile. I stretch over Ezra’s body, rubbing my hand over Adrian’s tip as he bows slightly as Leo fucks him.

With a grunt, Adrian comes, his seed spilling across my face. I moan and lick my lips, my whole body tingling with another wave, the endless pleasure gripping my soul.

“You’re so incredible to me. All of you,” I moan, my body slackening, my heat beginning to ease up where I no longer whimper and ache between them as they take turns. I can’t even fathom how much time has passed. Hours. Over a day.

“You’re our omega, Scarlett. We’ll do anything for you. We’re a pack and family,” Adrian says, stretching over Ezra, our bodies locked together. He strokes my cheeks, leaving his scent permeating the air. I can smell the lust of my alphas mingling together. And it smells like hope and love. Like passion and promise.

It smells like home.

It doesn’t matter where we are or what’s happening outside of our bonding moment together. The only thing that matters is each other.

I’ll cherish this moment forever.

Just as my alphas cherish me.

“You’vebeensummonedtostand before Pack Carlisle,” Adrian says, staring at the letter with the Pack Carlisle crest that was taped to the apartment door.

My alphas have taken a leave of absence for the last two weeks, waiting for news on Chaz’s whereabouts. The five of them have been working remotely, leading lectures with a couple of student-teachers, arranged by Dean Clearwater.

I tilt my head, frowning. “What for? They’re not my pack anymore.”

Adrian tears the paper off and crumples it in his fist. “I’ll remind them as much. We’ve gone above and beyond for Pack Steele. I’ll call the mayor immediately. He wouldn’t want to jeopardize ties with us. Not with the expansion.”

Because he got the contract for the university. I don’t know much about it, but it will bring a lot of jobs and opportunity to San Francisco.

“Go ahead and go to Dominic. He’s going to take you to the studio for a bit before we have dinner with Talia and a couple of potential clients who are dying for a moment with you.” Adrian opens the door to the apartment, motioning me inside. I’ve been so excited to meet the new director of the Art Department. If only a shadow didn’t cling to me with my nerves. “I don’t want you to worry about Pack Carlisle and whatever business they have. Let’s focus on you. You make me so proud, by the way. My talented fiancée.”

He kisses the top of my head, and I smile and kiss his throat, squeezing him as he guides me inside. I know everything outside of this apartment has been tense and worrisome, but I try my best not to let it bother me. There’s only so much we can do. The authorities, including Chaz’s pack, know what a psycho he’s been. He’s a fugitive, and we’re just waiting for him to fuck up.

I have a restraining order in place, and if he breaks it, Pack Clearwater law says that I have every right to do whatever is necessary to protect myself. I’m a claimed omega, and they will not jeopardize my life.

Everyone knows that it’s possible I could be pregnant. His bullshit won’t go unpunished. There’s far too much evidence against him.

The university basically is turning a blind eye now, because it’s almost the end of the semester, and then I only have one more to go. We’re now following a don’t ask, don’t tell policy. Dean Clearwater ensured my alphas’ positions. It’s my degree and future job at stake. As long as I pass all my classes, keep under the radar as I have been by continuing to use suppressant lotion, and not get caught fucking anyone on campus, everything will be fine.

I’m just lucky that Dean Clearwater wasn’t willing to risk the money Adrian brings through his position as a financial advisor and the one in charge of expansion. Had it been anyone else, we’d have had to find other leverage. And my guys just aren’t those types of people. They aren’t criminals or crooked. Not like some of the heads of Clearwater.

“Lettie, I didn’t think Adrian was ever bringing you home. How was your lunch date and shopping? Did you find anything nice?” Dominic sits at his desk, grading the math test distributed by one of the aides in his classes.

I hold up my shopping bag and shake it. “Just a few things. Mostly some undergarments, considering how many have been destroyed.”

He chuckles and rolls back in his chair, getting to his feet. “There is an easier solution.”

I laugh and hold my arms up, waiting for him to step into them so I can hook them around his neck and pull him closer for a kiss. “I have to make you guys work just a little bit, don’t I?”

He groans and kisses me. “You wouldn’t wear anything at all if I had my way. Especially with that masterpiece constantly teasing me.” He motions toward our strangely beautiful ceramic slab, my body silhouette glazed over in shades of red as an ode to my name.

My phone chirps, drawing my attention from the ceramic piece deemed Scarlett’s Claiming, and I reach into my pocket and pull out my cell.
