She gasps a breathy laugh. “Kase!”

I grab Raven and toss her toward Micah. “You don’t have to worry about that. Micah’s got her.”

“And I don’t plan to let her go,” he says, hugging her in his arms. “You got that, heathen?”

She smiles. “I’m not letting go of any of you.” She waves her hand at Kase, Andre, and finally me. “I mean it.”

“You couldn’t even if you wanted to. I’ll have you in my favorite restraints soon enough.” I flick my tongue at her, watching her squirm.

“Okay, okay. Enough. Hurry up already.” She waves her hand at me. “Go the fuck to Hell.”

Chapter 25

Eternal Bond

MICAH

SAY SOMETHING EROTIC. Something unexpected. Raven needs something to get her attention away from the gates of Hell I hold open with my mind.

The thoughts tumble through my head over and over again.

I need to do something. The silence sinks into my skin, unnerving me. I feel like I’m failing her by not keeping her attention and instead letting it wander to the dozen scenarios I know flit through her mind. I can hear bits and pieces of her thoughts, and I need to change them. She should trust that Kase, Dante, and Andre can take care of themselves and let me learn how to take care of her like they do.

“Why don’t you come over here and straddle my face. I’d enjoy performing cunnilingus on you,” I say, licking my lips, my body awakening at the thought. “I want to discover if your labia tastes as Dante describes.”

Damn. Raven’s expression morphs from concern to shock.

I messed up.

I just wish for my mouth get on board to speak the vulgar terms she favors.

Jerking his head back, Elias howls a laugh hard enough to make him cough. He wheezes and clutches his chest, his face reddening from the effort. Annoyance rushes through me, and I curl my fingers into fists, preparing to punch the loveseat he sprawls out on to send him flying backward.

Raven raises her palm at me, moving from his side to mine. “That’s really tempting. A bit clinical sounding, but tempting.”

“Shit, Micah. Your attempt to talk dirty will be the literal death of me.” Elias gets up and surprises me by plopping down on my other side. He bumps his knuckles into my shoulder, still grinning in amusement. “This is gonna be weird as fuck, but I have a strong need of self-preservation. Let me teach you.”

Raven whips her head, sweeping her black tresses around. “Don’t you dare. It’s my job to corrupt Micah.”

“We can’t have a pity corruption on you. Make him earn it.” Elias chuckles again and leans in close. “Repeat after me.”

I turn and glance into his eyes, testing my ability to get into his head to listen to his thoughts. He’s open enough toward me that I don’t have to pry my way in. It could also be because he’s Raven’s soulmate, and their connection and our past life—one I don’t want to think about—aids the new bond we share with Raven tying us back together where time and life had torn us apart.

“You can just think the words,” I say into his mind, smirking at his reaction. “Don’t worry. I don’t listen to your thoughts. Just now.”

Elias closes his eyes like he thinks he needs to concentrate. “This is fucking weird. God, what do I think? What would make Raven cream? If she likes it from him, then she might like it from me.”

It’s my turn to laugh.

Raven groans and climbs onto my lap, straddling me with one of her knees between Elias’s leg and mine. “This is too weird. Knock it off and kiss me instead.”

“Go on. Kiss her and get her worked up a bit. Make her forget that I’m coaching you,” Elias thinks to me.

I lift my eyebrow and do what he says, giving in to Raven’s request. She hugs her arms around my neck, deepening our kiss until I give her what she craves and slip my tongue across hers. Easing away, she bites her lip with a smile, turning her attention to Elias.

“Do you want to kiss him too?” I ask, studying the desire crossing her face.

“Damn, look at you. You don’t need my help after all,” he thinks, stretching closer to pinch Raven’s chin between his fingers.
