“Mama, catch!” She squeals, flipping just as I taught her, to land perfectly in my arms.
“Me next, Monny!” Ellie calls, raising her arms for Monroe to pick her up.
Cooper sets me on my feet and holds his arms out, waiting as Monroe tosses Ellie into the air for her dad to catch. Kylie jumps from Knox and joins her sisters. The four of them plow me down, knocking me onto my back. I laugh and hug them, kissing each of their cheeks and loving every moment of their affection. I can’t believe this is my life.
It’s the best one I could’ve asked for.
“Make some room,” Sawyer says, dropping to his knees. He lifts Kylie and Celine in each of his arms and sets them next to me, climbing in close. They laugh and tackle him, and Cooper, Knox, and Monroe join us on the floor, tickling and laughing with our girls, the joyous sound of our family filling me up in a way I know I can survive on.
“You were amazing as always, vixen,” Knox says, touching my cheek.
I lean in and kiss him. “Maybe next time you’ll join me on stage.”
He laughs. “I’m going to need a bit more practice.”
I grin at him. “I think I can arrange it.”
“Fuck yeah. I’m in. Someone call the babysitters. We gotta give our girl what she wants.” Monroe wags his eyebrows at me and winks.
I laugh and shake my head. “You are ridiculous.”
“No, I’m just so madly in love. Completely all in. I’ve accepted that this is my life, and I will do anything to make you smile.” Monroe kisses me softly, pulling me up from our cuddle pile with our daughters.
“And I’ll do the same,” I say, wiggling my fingers at the four of them. “Now someone call Mya and Tatum. I think our girls need some auntie time.”
Knox reaches me first and flips me onto his shoulders while the others grab our girls. He kisses my throat and snuggles his nose to my skin. “How did I get so lucky?”
I asked myself the same every day until I realized it wasn’t luck. It’s love. It’s the one thing that I was determined to fight for. And with the love of the Bella Crew, comes my perfect eternity.
I plan to enjoy every second of it.
