“I don’t want to get stuck to anyone...again. It was weird. You’re going to have to control yourselves. I just can’t.” I regret the words immediately, flicking my gaze to Ravi. Only an alpha can have that kind of ability, which is something I didn’t know until I met Mirabel. I had just assumed things happened with Chase because we were now lykoswulves. What if that wasn’t the case? He was bitten and changed by Ravi’s former alpha, after all.

“What do you meanagain?” Ravi turns me toward him, grumbling, and his eyes flash gold. “Which alpha forced their knot on you? I know you wouldn’t have done so willingly, and they preyed on your wolf. I will destroy the bastard for planting his seed where it doesn’t belong. For putting you through that. That moment should’ve been—fuck! You should’ve never been put in that position, princess. You were probably so confused and terrified. I will kill him. I’ll obliterate his entire territory.” He bares his teeth, glowering at Slater. “Did you know? You should’ve told me immediately.”

Slater furrows his brows without responding. He knew I was pregnant but not much else.

I realize Ravi thinks something happened to me when I was away from his care. Worry scrunches his handsome face, a wave of fear and rage tensing his body. Something inside me aches because of the emotions rolling through him, and I can’t help myself from stepping closer and sliding my arms under his until I rest my face in his chest.

“I’m okay, Ravi. It’s not what you think. I don’t know what or exactly when, but Mirabel believes I was pregnant before I was bitten. And then when Chase and I...” I swallow, tilting my head up. Ravi stiffens in my arms, but he doesn’t pull away. “It was Chase. I don’t know how to explain it, and honestly, I don’t think it’s any of your business. It happened and who knows what the outcome will be. Chase obviously embodies an alpha position. Like you told me, an alpha can claim an omega. Neither of us had intentions of this happening. Mirabel said it happened because I was already pregnant...with either Adam or Kellan’s baby.”

“Or both. All of them. You carry the bloodline of a lykoswulf even human-born, and you have been moon blessed.” Slater says the words quietly, keeping his space from me and Ravi. “Who knows what the goddess deems possible, pup. For all we know, this could be her intention all along.”

“Intention for what? Making me miserable? Ruining my life? Whatever it is, I don’t see anything positive coming from this. You guys are already showing me as much with your damn attitudes and overprotective need to dominate me.” I pull away from Ravi. “I sense it might get worse. You’re already determined to keep me from each other.”

“That’s not what I want, Eliana. I believe you and your offspring will be better cared for here. Ravi can’t possibly handle everything thrown at him.” Slater straightens his back, puffing out his chest. “He claims an alpha position, but he didn’t earn it.”

“Fuck you. I can and will do everything for her. Eliana is mine.” Ravi reaches for me, locking his hand around my waist. “Our pack needs her. The same would’ve happened to you had you been in my position. Don’t deny it.”

Ah hell. They’re getting too riled up. I have to do something before they fight. The last place I want to be is between two alphas about to start a pissing match. I’d prefer if I was the meat in a cuddly sandwich again.

“Enough. I’ll not stand here constantly having to chill you both out. Can’t you call a truce? Why are you making this a competition? I already told you I’d give you both a chance, but not if you fight.” What am I even saying? My wolf already claims Tristan, Chase, Adam, Davian, Evander, and Kellan. She’s now about to add Ravi and Slater in too. Shit.

Ravi sighs. “We’ve told you, princess. It never works with two alphas. I won’t bow to Slater either. I’m not giving up on building our pack together. But if he would like to bow to me...”

“Not happening.” Slater stands taller.

“Then I’ll take Eliana and the rest of my pack and leave.” Ravi tightens his grip on me, keeping me close.

Slater snatches me just as fast, throwing a punch to knock Ravi back. He steals me away and places me on my feet behind him. “She’s not going anywhere. This is the safest place for her.”

Growls hum through the air, vibrating across my skin as these two men unleash their savage beasts. My whole body tenses, and I try to back away, but I hit the wall. They are far too lost to their wolves to see reason.

So I do the only thing I can think of. I throw myself forward between them and grab each of them by their cocks, lacing my fingers around the bulges in their pants. Is this bold? Yes. But it seems that doing so gives me an advantage. Both alphas immediately stop growling and look at me.

“If you don’t stop, you will need ice packs. I said I would give you both a chance, so knock it off. There will be no bowing to each other. This isn’t up for discussion. You said a pack can’t have two alphas, but I bet two packs can have one omega. If you can’t get along in one territory, then I will move between two. No pack will claim me. I will claim both of yours. Do you understand?” I expect them to shoot me down, because this kind of negotiation isn’t exactly my place to stand, but I try my best to stay firm. Mirabel said that just because I’m an omega doesn’t mean I’m weak. If anything, I feel stronger, especially with my decision.

“It’ll be too dangerous to travel,” Slater says, flexing his cock in my hand. He purposely tests me, but I don’t back down. I squeeze him a bit harder.

“Well, then figure it out,” I snap, tightening my jaw to stop from reacting. “I’m not something to possess.”

“You naughty, naughty princess. You’re lucky you have me by more than my balls.” Ravi practically purrs deep in his throat. “Perhaps Sunset Pointe and Ice Meadow pack can negotiate a territory exchange. We can have our packs together yet separate.”

Separate yet together. I like it. So does my wolf. This could be the step I need to find some normalcy for me and the other guys. At least, until we figure out how to leave.

“That’s exactly what I want. I know the importance of your packs and...females.” I finally loosen my grip and drop my hands to my side. “Please, just give this a chance.”

Slater turns his attention from me to Ravi. “I’m willing to try if you are. Maybe Eliana will decide she wants to stay.”

Ravi nods. “Or she’ll beg to leave. But regardless, fine. I’ll agree to her terms.”

I blow out a breath in relief. I can’t believe they actually agreed. For the first time in a while, hope lights within me. Maybe this was what I needed. I might even want it.

“I will call upon the packs. We will make this territory exchange official. The others need to know that Eliana is not to be taken or fought over anymore. She is ours.” Slater holds out his hand to Ravi. “Here is to strengthening our packs and to new alliances.”

“To strengthening our packs,” Ravi repeats.

I can’t stop the smile crossing my mouth. Who knew I’d be so happy? I guess my she-wolf controls a bigger part of me than I realized. She is excited about the possibilities of a new future. Of being taken care of.

But my human side? I will still keep my guard up.
