Page 54 of Desiring Them

Jeremy stared at us with his mouth hanging open. “So, everything’s okay, then?”

I stopped kissing Ruben and sent Jeremy a sheepish look. “Yep. Sorry.”

“Don’t be. I’m glad you took the precaution.” Jeremy pointed at Ruben. “Think before you act next time, yeah?”

Ruben gulped again. “Promise.”

Without another word, Jeremy left the apartment, pulling the door closed firmly behind him.

“Who is he?”

“My neighbor.”

Ruben scratched his ear. “And bodyguard?”

“He certainly fits the part, I guess.” I grinned at Ruben, hardly believing my eyes. “You’re here.”

“I am,” he confirmed and smiled affectionately at me.

“You’re here in my apartment in London,” I said as I draped my arms over his shoulders.

He nuzzled my neck and kissed it in the exact spot he knew I loved it. “In an apartment, you can barely swing a cat in.”

I shrugged. “It’s affordable.”

“Now I remember why I never lived in London,” he said with a sigh and a wrinkled face.

“Because you and your mom moved to Wayborough Shores as soon as you graduated?”

Ruben gazed at me. “Hush you. Stop being so logical.”

I pressed my nose against his. “Make me stop.”

“Mmm… I will, you know.”

I kissed him stupidly for another few moments, reminding myself how good he always was to me.

Ruben skimmed his hands down the sides of my body and gripped my ass. “Give me a proper London welcome, Sienna-Belle.”

“Gladly,” I said through a gasp.

The pair of us fell onto the bed together. This was exactly what I needed to alleviate the stress from earlier.

With a satisfied sigh, I rolled off Ruben and lamented against the timber headboard. “I have missed you, my man.”

“I’ve missed you, too, Sienna-Belle. I’ve missed touching you, kissing you, making you come, and overall spoiling you rotten.”

With a happy moan, I welcomed his all-consuming kiss and allowed him to drag me back down to the mattress. “I could do this for hours. How long are you here for, Rubie?”

“Only for a week, I’m afraid. I have to be back for Christmas with Mum.”

“You came all this way for a week?”

He rested his elbows on either side of my head and propped himself over me. “I couldn’t stand the thought of you being unhappy. The long trip is worth it to cheer you up.”

I stretched, and Ruben slid his hands up to clasp our hands together. “I couldn’t agree more.”

He laced his fingers through mine and held my gaze lovingly in his. “How is everything going at Estate Styles?”
