“What the fuck?” he shouted.

“Don’t get yourself all worked up man,” Liam said. “I have a letter for Cat in my pocket.”

“Pull it out slowly,” Repo said. He watched as Liam pulled the letter free from his jacket pocket and held it out towards her. “I’ve got it, Honey,” Repo pushed her back behind his body and took the letter from Liam’s extended hand.

“You really need to chill, man,” Liam said. “I’d like to head out now, if that works for you, boss man.” Repo looked behind himself to where Cat stood. She looked to be completely broken hearted and honestly, he wanted the asshole out of his home.

“Fine,” Repo spat. “But you come back here again, I won’t hesitate to shoot first and ask questions later.”

“Noted,” Liam said. He walked past where he and Cat stood, she was still using his body as a shield and a small sob escaped her.

“Stay put,” Repo ordered. He followed Liam down the hallway to his front entrance. He didn’t trust the guy to let himself out. Cat’s brother looked back and flashed him a smile.

“Good luck with her, man,” Liam taunted. He seemed like the type of guy who needed to have the last word and honestly, that was just fine with Repo. He wanted to get back to Cat and make sure she was all right. He shut and locked his front door and pulled out his phone. He needed to rearm his system and then, first thing in the morning, he was going to call a few favors in and get his security system overhauled because there was no way he’d allow a repeat of tonight’s shit show—not ever.
