“Yep,” she agreed. “Besides, I’ve always wanted to go shopping in France, this just gives me a good excuse to do it.” Archer checked his watch and realized that he had used his few minutes already. He needed to get down to the lobby to meet Jordan for their breakfast meeting. “Go on and go,” she said. “We’ll be here when you get back later.”

Hearing her promise to be in his room when he got back made him wish that it was already later, but he had an important meeting to get through first. “We’ll both be here,” Jon said, pulling Grace into the room. “Now, go get 'em, tiger,” Jon said, slapping Archer’s ass. Gracie giggled as Archer shook his head and rubbed his ass.

“So aggressive,” he chided.

“You’ll see just how aggressive I can be when you get that sexy ass back here later. Go,” Jon ordered. Archer loved Jon’s playful, devious side. It was his favorite part of Jon and he just hoped that he meant his promise for later. Archer was looking forward to a little rough play. They had a lot of time to make up for and he planned on spending the weekend doing just that.

As soon as Archer made his way down to the lobby, he found Jordan standing by the front door, making a show of checking his watch. “About time,” he challenged.

“Sorry,” he said. “They just took me by surprise, and you know how I hate surprises.”

“Right—I still remember that little birthday melt down on your thirtieth, at the office. That was the first and last time that the company celebrated your birthday,” Jordan teased. It was a disaster. Jordan had his assistant throw everyone a little party in the cafeteria, but because it was Archer’s thirtieth, he had her go a bit above and beyond what was normally done for the employees. They had it catered and even had an open bar. Grace came and when Archer walked into the cafeteria and everyone shouted, “Surprise,” he nearly bit all their heads off. He cussed like a sailor and when that little tirade was done, he got really pissed off at Grace for not warning him. There was just something about people shouting, “Surprise” at him that drove him to the brink of his sanity.

“I’m never going to live that down, am I?” Archer asked.

“Nope,” Jordan said. “So, you want to talk about it?” he asked.

“About what?” Archer asked, playing dumb. He knew just what Jordan wanted to talk about—his relationship with Jon and Grace.

“The fact that you seem to be a part of a thrupple and haven’t told me. I thought that we’re friends, Archer,” Jordan chided.

“We are, but I wasn’t sure if this crossed some boundary with the whole friend and boss thing, you know?” Archer asked.

“I get it,” Jordan said. “And your private life is your own. It has nothing to do with work, Arch. Just know that you can always come to me with anything—no judgment.”

“Thanks, Jordan. I appreciate that,” Archer said. “It’s just kind of new. I mean, I’ve known Jon practically our whole lives. We were even college roommates for a few years. But that was all. I’ve always had feelings for him, and he says the same about me.”

“How did you get Grace on board with all of this?” Jordan questioned. “If you don’t mind me asking.”

“Not at all,” Archer insisted. “It’s nice to have someone to talk to about all of this, actually. She and Jon dated in college. That’s how Grace and I met. I had the bright idea to ask her out and date her on the side. Then, I was going to convince Jon to put her in the middle of us. But my plan backfired, and he refused. Jon wasn’t ready to come out to the world as bisexual back then and who knows, maybe I wasn’t either. Jon insisted that Grace chose between us and well, she picked me. We got married and cut to about a month ago. I left her and went to Jon because I couldn’t keep living a lie. I was in love with two people and not being with both of them was tearing me apart.”

“I had no idea that you and Grace split,” Jordan said. “You never said anything.”

“No, because I was hoping that things would work out the way that they have. I didn’t want to tell everyone that Grace and I were separated because I was hoping that we’d get back together and this time, I’d have both pieces of my heart.”

“Well, it worked out so, that was smart thinking,” Jordan said.

“It took a few weeks, but Jon convinced her to meet with him, and well, I was with him. We worked things out and now, Jon lives with Grace and me.”

“Don’t any of you get jealous?” Jordan asked. “I mean, they just spend almost two weeks alone together while you’ve been here busing your ass with me. Don’t you get jealous?”

“Actually, I don’t,” Archer admitted. “The three of us sat down and discussed everything before we jumped into this. Plus, Grace and I are going to therapy and we’re hoping that Jon will join us at some point. Two people in a relationship is hard enough to navigate, but three will be downright treacherous to get through.”

“I can imagine,” Jordan said. “Well, you have my full support, Archer. And please don’t think that you ever need to hide anything like this from me again. I’ll always be on your side, man.” He held out his hand and Archer took it.

“Thank you, Jordan,” Archer said. “I really appreciate that.”

“Now, let’s grab some breakfast and go kick some client ass into shape,” Jordan said.

“Sounds like a plan, man,” Archer agreed. “Thanks for listening, Jordan,” he said.

“Anytime, Arch.”

Archer felt like a kid on Christmas hurrying back to the hotel. All he wanted to do was show Jon and Grace a bit of the city, take them to his favorite bistro, and take them back to his suite and remind them how they all fit together so perfectly.
