“Till death do us part,” I finished my vows.

“Now, it is my great honor to introduce to you, Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Anderson. You may now kiss your bride, Marcus.”

I didn’t need to be told twice. I grabbed both sides of her head and brought my mouth crashing down onto hers. I poured everything into that kiss. I wanted her to know how sorry I was. I wanted her to know that I meant every single word I had said. I wanted her to know that my words had been lies before. She was the kind of woman any man would have been lucky to have.

When we parted, there was an uproar of cheers around us, but all I saw was her.

We stared into each other’s eyes drinking in the moment. We were officially married.

I wanted to know what she was thinking. I wanted to know what was going on in her head. But it would have to wait because now we had guests to entertain.

We would find a private moment after the wedding when we went on our ‘honeymoon’ not that there would be any real honeymooning. I was not sure if she forgave me, but I was sure that her anger would have at least subsided a little bit.
