So, now here I was, dressed in a pair of my best dark-wash jeans and a black t-shirt, stirring alfredo sauce on the stove. Nathan had told me Soraya’s favorite meal was shrimp alfredo, so I’d decided to make it to try to soften her up towards me.
And with them running late because of Soraya studying, it gave me some extra time to finish dinner. It actually made me soften towards the woman that she was late because she was studying. It showed that school and her future were important to her.
Granted, Nathan hadn’t gone to college, but he made just as much as a college graduate by being a mechanic. Our shop was the best-known shop in this town, and some people even specifically requested him for work to be done on their car.
He made more than enough to own his own place at this point, but he kept putting off moving out. But after he propositioned this to me, I could sort of understand why.
Why would he want to move out if he thought we might end up sharing a woman?
Suddenly, I heard the front door open just as I was throwing everything together. “Dad!” Nathan called out.
“In the kitchen,” I told him.
I heard him step into the kitchen, and I turned, my eyes widening slightly at the sight of Soraya.
Fucking hell, she was beautiful.
No wonder Nathan was so damn in love with her.
Her dark hair hung in natural waves down her back, and her eyes were a piercing blue. But instead of seeming cold, they were filled with warmth, matching the pretty smile pulling at her lips. A light dusting of freckles was splattered across her cute, button nose and high cheekbones. She had a sort of exotic look about her that was captivating. Pair that with her fair skin and smaller frame, and I just wanted to wrap her in my arms and never let her go.
Soraya stepped forward and wrapped her arms around me before she quickly stepped back, tucking some of her hair behind her ear. “I’m Soraya,” she greeted. “I’ve been dying to meet you.”
I grinned. “That so, sweetheart?” She blushed. My grin widened. “I’m Rowan. You hungry? Nathan told me your favorite food is shrimp alfredo, so that’s what we’re having.”
Her eyes widened, the blue in them seeming to sparkle. “Oh, my gosh,yes,” she breathed, practically bouncing on the balls of her feet. “Please feed me.”
I barked out a laugh and dished her up some food. Nathan directed her to the kitchen table before coming back into the kitchen. He smirked at me. “Told you,” he murmured so our voices wouldn’t carry beyond the kitchen.
He had been right. The woman was fucking enthralling, and I washooked.
“Up to you to get her on board,” I quietly told him. I couldn’t believe I was doing this, butfuck, I wanted her. And I didn’t give a damn how wrong that was.
He grinned. “Don’t worry about that.”
He dished himself up some food and disappeared into the dining room. A moment later, I heard Soraya giggle, and my heart swelled in my chest.
I needed that girl.

Soraya moaned softlyas Nathan massaged her feet, her eyes shutting for a moment. My cock stiffened in my jeans, and I shifted a bit, trying to hide it. Nathan smirked but didn’t say a word.
I’d been flirting with Soraya all night, and she dished as good as she got. I really fucking liked that about her. Sure, she blushed like a virgin, but with how quick her tongue was, I knew she was experienced.
Had to be if she was with Nathan.
“Dad hasn’t had a proper relationship since I was born,” Nathan told Soraya.
Her eyes widened, and she swung her pretty, startled gaze to me. “You’re kidding,” she breathed. “You look that damn good, and you haven’t evendated?”
See what I mean?
I snorted and shook my head. “Being a dad and providing for my family took precedence,” I told her.
She licked her lips, eyeing me unashamedly. Nathan rubbed her calf with his lotioned hands, and her eyes darkened a little, her breath hitching in her throat. “Single dads are hot as fuck,” she rasped.
I barely bit back a groan. She suddenly looked at Nathan and swung her legs from his lap. “I’m going to use the restroom,” she told him.
