“Only for you.”

She unzipped her jacket as she kissed me. Seeing yet another part of her bared for my eyes only had me growling low in my throat as I kissed her again. I slowly made my way down her body. Kissing and sucking on her breasts before continuing down her body. I licked around her clit before flicking my tongue over it.

“Daire, I’m wet enough. I’m ready. I’m so fucking ready. Please.”

I stood up immediately and did what she asked. Lining up, I slowly began to glide into her slick heat.

“Tight. Baby, you’re so tight.”

“Mmm, hmm.”

A tear slipped from her eye, and I kissed it away. I stopped moving. Instead, I waited. she took a few deep breaths. When she realized I wasn’t moving, she opened her eyes. Those stormy grays looked at me with so much heat I slowly moved my hips just to show her I could make that look shift.

She smiled then ran her nails up and down my back. I kissed her as she lifted her legs. I slipped in a little bit further and she moaned. It would take a little more push, pull, and squeeze before I bottomed out. When I did, we both moaned.

“Now, the real work begins.”

She laughed for all of ten seconds then it turned into a deep, pleasurable moan.

Her moans are one of the things I used to look forward to hearing. My weekly goal would be to find a new place and a new way to hear her moan.

“I think we need to talk,” I hear her voice, but it takes me a second to realize it’s her real voice. “Did you hear me?”

“I did.”

When I don’t say anything else, she looks annoyed.

“Are you going to continue to do this?”

I settle into the seat of the window with my arms still folded. I’m sitting because I’m trying to ensure she doesn’t see how hard I am. I don’t want her to get the wrong impression.

“You’re going to have to clue me in to what you think I’m doing.”

“Really?”

“Yes,” I snort while spreading my legs slightly.

This isn’t the most comfortable state to be in when have a conversation. Argument? Discussion? Whatever the hell this is.

“Look, I know this is an awkward situation to be in. We didn’t expect to live in the same city again. At the same time, I don’t think it’s right to act as if you have the right to not speak or acknowledge my presence when we are in the same room.”

Well, there goes my hard on. I’m fighting a different urge now. The audacity of this female. She begins to look down at the ground and not at me. That just won’t do.

“Eyes up, Blaze.” She immediately complies with the request. I can see she’s irritated with herself for doing it. “This situation is what it is because of one person and one person alone.”

“You’re right. You. You are the reason that we are where we are. I thought we could have a civil conversation and act like adults.”

“That’s hilarious. Coming from the woman who walked in here going on about how I wouldn’t speak to her. Did I hurt your feelings?”

“Oh no, you did that a long time ago. When you left that was the last time, I ever trusted you to do right by me and my feelings.”

She drops her eyes again then moves towards the door as if she’s going to leave. I want to scream but I don’t. I do the opposite. With all the calm I can muster, I say one word.

“Interesting.”

Her head snaps up as she puts her attention back on me. With her nose turned up in the air, she speaks one word.

“What?”
