Jacintha

January

Somebody was gettingher pussy that night, and Jacintha was 99 percent sure it wouldn’t be her husband. It was not to be confused—Elite was a beast in the sheets. He was able to make his wife cum in seconds or torture her and make her wait for hours. His dick was long and the perfect girth, and he had absolutely no problem licking and sucking her clit until she squirted in his face.

So what reason did Jacintha have to be scoping the lounge for a potential sex partner?

She was bored.

Jacintha had only been with three men sexually in her life—the boy she gave her virginity to at sixteen, the man whose seeds helped her give birth to her eight-year-old twins, and her husband Elite. It didn’t matter how exciting and unique they got in the bedroom… Jacintha was bored. At thirty-four, she’d never had the ho phase her friends had in their younger days, and now, she was married with two daughters. Elite was the perfect man for her, but in all of his perfection, Jacinthastillwasn’t fucking satisfied.

Releasing a low huff, Jacintha grabbed her champagne. Her mother would hit her upside her head with a bible if she knew Jacintha was evenconsideringcheating on her husband. If anyone asked Jacintha, she would say her parents were the cause of her discontentment with her life anyway.

Baxter and Sonya Lewis raised her to be agoodgirl. They kept her in church several times throughout the week, monitored her friends and didn’t allow her to date anyone they didn’t approve of, and all but grounded her the rest of her time in high school after catching her with a boy in her room. While Jacintha wished she had the courage to rebel, their strict parenting caused her to keep her distance from the opposite sex after high school. While in college, she dated on purpose—and if that purpose wasn’t marriage, she remained single.

The first man who hinted at engagement was the father of her children, Dedrick. They met when she was twenty-four. Dedrick convinced her that he’d marry her, but first, he wanted to be sure she’d make a good wife. They moved in together and quickly started a sexual relationship. Not long after their twins were delivered, the dynamic of their relationship changed. By the time the twins were three, Dedrick was ending the lease for their rental to take a job in Washington, forcing Jacintha to go back home to her parents… with two baby girls they refused to raise for her.

She ended up working two low-paying jobs, because her degree, to her, was useless, just to get her own apartment. Once her parents realized she was serious about her responsibilities, they helped her with her children. Though Jacintha was grateful for the help and relief, she didn’t feel secure living with her parents, nor did she have the freedom a twenty-nine-year-old woman should have.

Jacintha buried herself in work and being a mother, feeling as if her children were a punishment from God. If only she’d listened to her parents and not moved in with a man and had premarital sex… she wouldn’t have become a single mother. At that point, she didn’t want to date, let alone have sex again. But a year later, she met Elite, and he changed everything.

Elite was rough around the edges, but he was still sweet toward her and a gentleman. He had no problem providing for her while allowing her to keep her independence. Elite was a protector—even against her parents and herself. He helped Jacintha find herself and not settle for less than she deserved. He helped her heal and boosted her confidence. To a certain extent, Jacintha was beginning to realize how much she needed him for her emotional wellbeing… but was she still in love with her husband? Jacintha simply wasn’t sure.

How could she be in love with him while wanting more?

There was a part of her that believed there was more to life than being a wife and mother, but selfishly, Jacintha didn’t want a divorce. She may have wanted to date and experience new men, but she was acutely aware of the great catch she had with her husband. Going after her happiness would hurt him… only if he found out. As Jacintha looked around the lounge, she had a limited window of time to determine if the reward was worth the risk.

“I know it’s late, but I appreciate you coming out,” Bianca, Jacintha’s best friend, said a bit loudly over the music.

They were at L.O.V.E. for their thirty and up live music night. It wasn’t Jacintha’s usual hangout spot, but that was where the birthday girl wanted to go, and she had to admit there were a lot of grown and sexy men in the building. Men dressed in suits and slacks… not the urban wear she’d gotten used to seeing her husband in all the time.

As a self-employed jewelry store owner, who often catered to celebrities and athletes, Elite could walk around in basketball shorts and wife beaters every day of his life… and he often did. There wasn’t a reason for him to get dressed up these days. True, he would have if they went on a date or to church, but Jacintha was past the point of putting forth effort. She’d convinced herself the effort she would have exerted trying to get her marriage back on the right track should have been reserved for someone new.

“Of course. It’s your birthday. Where else would I be?”

Bianca lifted her champagne and clinked her glass against Jacintha’s. Her actual birthday party was the next day, but since her birthday was on a Thursday, Bianca wanted to at least go out and have drinks after work.

“Elite didn’t trip about you coming out, did he?”

Jacintha sucked her teeth. “His ass wasn’t even at home.”

“Where are my nieces then?”

“With their grandma. You know they’d rather be at her house than ours anyway.”

Though Jacintha rolled her eyes playfully and chuckled, she felt some type of way about her daughters wanting to spend so much time with her parents. They’d softened as grandparents, but she still feared they would influence her daughters and cause them to have the same unsure thoughts Jacintha had.

“Listen, Alicia and Paisley know where to go to be spoiled. All your ass do is cook tacos and hot wings. They know grandma will get them right!”

Jacintha had no choice but to laugh at her best friend’s animated tone, but that was the truth. If Sonya didn’t do anything else, she was going to make sure the kids were well fed and comfortable while they were with her. She might not have allowed them to watch certain things or listen to rap music, but she gave them everything else their little hearts desired.

“Girl, fuck them kids tonight! Drink the rest of that champagne so I can get you a refill and get you fucked up!”

“That’s what I’m talking about.”

At the sound of the deep baritone voice, both Jacintha and Bianca looked up. They’d gotten a V.I.P table, so the tall, brown-skinned man standing in front of their booth must have had one too. He was dressed in a black button-down shirt with slacks and long distressed locs framing his face. Jacintha had to admit he was handsome and definitely Bianca’s type. The man standing behind him was handsome too. He had a tapered fade, was shorter, a little thicker, and he had darker skin. He licked his full lips as he looked Jacintha over, and she squeezed her thighs together as she looked away.
