“Don’t thank me yet. I gave you her name, I didn’t say she’d be happy to hear from you.”
“She will be.” He tugs his bottom lip between his teeth. “You two have fun.” He slowly backs away, laughter shaking his shoulders.
“He’s just as big of an asshole as always,” Treyton murmurs as if talking to himself.
“An asshole?” I turn to face him.
“Not in a bad way.” He grins.
“I didn’t realize you two knew each other.”
“We worked on a film together a couple of years ago. We aren’t close. But he does enjoy busting my balls when we occasionally run into each other at things like this. Though he was more focused on you this time around.”
“More like focused on my friend.” I shake my head. “But, speaking of your balls.” I smile seductively.
In truth, I’m just teasing, but when I watch desire flood his handsome face, I know there’s not a chance in hell we aren’t leaving at this very moment.
And you know what, I’m more than okay with that…
