My eyes snapped up at Blue's uneasy tone, eager to hear him speak again. "Yes?"
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Of course." His eyes held mine, and my heart quickened.
"Um." He folded his hands in his lap, making my wolf snarl at the loss of his touch. Blue swallowed hard, smoothing his hands over his knees. "I was wondering if you could change yourself." His big eyes widened, brimming with restrained excitement. "I've never seen a wolf shift. The betas never shifted inside the village during the full Moon, and I've never seen someone change before."
I smiled at his sweet energy. His request was endearing.
I placed my hands on my knees, prepared to stand up. "Do you want to see my full wolf?" My beast preened within me, hoping to shift and put on a show for our omega.
Blue shook his head, making my beast whine. "You don't have to do that. Just something small, if that's okay."
Smiling, I beckoned him closer. He leaned forward, his soft scent filling my lungs. Opening my mouth slightly, I engaged my canines, letting them lengthen fully to a point.
"Wow." His voice was a breathy whisper. He moved his hand up, staring intensely at my mouth, then jerked back quickly. "Can I touch you?" He asked in such a bashful way I couldn't have said no if I wanted to.
"Be careful. They're sharp."
His lips lifted into a bright smile, and he leaned in, running a single finger down the length of my fang. Then he poked the bottom and jerked back, letting out a quick hiss.
Instinctively, I reached for his hand, pulling it to me. A tiny pin-prick of blood swelled in the center of his fingertip. I quickly licked it to clean and heal it faster. The second my tongue touched his soft skin, my whole body thrummed with a delicate sweetness that swirled within me, filling every pore.
It was intense and consuming, and it made me dizzy and hard.
Blue's breath hitched, and I glanced up into those hypnotizing eyes, my heart beating wildly in my chest.
My wolf licked his lips and edged forward, desperate to taste more.
The Next Morning

Tzidal sighedas she eased herself into the hot spring. She moved slowly, her legs unsteady as she settled in the water.
"I was too hard on you," I said, pride and guilt clashing together at the sight of her red and slightly bruised ass. Deep love bites covered her shoulders, breasts, and the inside of her thighs. She looked claimed in every sense of the word.
Tzidal peeked up at me from under hooded lids. "Do you feel like you've been bad?" Her voice held a teasing, yet husky, lift to it. "Do I need to punishyou?" She bit her bottom lip.
I moved into the hot water and pulled her back to my chest, caressing and cleaning her smooth skin. "How the hell am I supposed to control you if I can't punish you?"
"You just spent all night punishing me." She let out a breathy hum as I moved my fingers between her thighs, wiping at the mix of dried and wet fluids on her skin.
"Yes, but you aren't supposed to like it."
"I didn't," she said, twisting slightly in my lap. She placed her lips next to my ear and whispered, "I loved it."
I couldn't stop the smile that consumed my face. I should have been angry and frustrated, demanding she submit to me. But more than anything, I just wanted to ease into her sweet, soft body once more and lose myself in her throaty moans. I loved her defiant streak and looked forward to spanking her ass raw again. I was in no doubt that she'd give me a reason, hopefully soon.
"We should probably get back," she sighed. The mischief in her eyes dimmed. "And we need to talk about Blue." She rested her hands on my chest, teasing my skin with the tips of her nails.
"Tzidal." I braced myself for a fierce argument. "He's an adult. If Blue wants to roam the forest alone for the remainder of his days, we don't really have a say. We cannot force him to go home."
"Actually," she said, biting her bottom lip. Whatever she was about to say, she already knew I wouldn't like it. "I want him to come with us."
"To Ossory?" I could only assume she meant the palace. She was still determined to see the King's end.
