“Please Hannah. Let me talk to my wife really quick.” Axyl pleads. There is shuffling on the other end of the phone before Ali’s voice fills the area. It’s hard to hear with the gunfire, and with me shooting every so often. I’m running low on ammo. I’m not sure how much longer we can make it before we’re all fucked.

“Axyl.” Ali lets out shakily.

“Yeah, Ali baby. How are you feeling? I’m sorry I can’t be there to see him come into the world. Next time.” He jokes.

“I understand baby, but I’m scared. I need you.” She cries out.

“I’m here baby. I’ll be here for you always. Right now, I need you to be the strong, fierce woman I know you to be. You have to be for our son. He needs you to be strong so he can come into this fucked up world. Please baby, be strong. Fuck!” Axyl roars out as a bullet hits his shoulder.

“Axyl? Ax! What happened?” Ali demands.

“Shoulder shot. I’ll be fine. I need to go Ali baby. Deliver that baby boy and I’ll see you two before you know it. I love you precious girl.”

“I love you too. Be safe.” Axyl hangs up the phone, looking at me and I can see the look in his eyes. He’s about to do something stupid. “I’m going to kill every single motherfucker in this place. I’m missing the birth of my fucking son!” He stands from his cover behind the bar and starts shooting until he runs out of ammo.

“Don’t fucking do that shit again. How do you think Ali is going to fucking react when she comes home to you fucking dead and not just shot!” I scream at him. I stand and empty my clip. “I’m out.”

“Same. I’m pretty sure we all are. All the ammo is in the basement, which we can’t get to right now.” Axyl says. “Status!” He yells out, taking over the leadership roll since our President is fighting for his life.

A sounding chorus of ‘out’ was all that was heard as the gunfire ended. “Where’s our fucking backup!” I roar out.

“They’re otherwise occupied. Or dead, if my men did their jobs right. Gather them and tie them up.” Blake commands. We fight as best we can, but it’s useless and we all end up sitting in the middle of the floor with our hands tied behind our backs and ankles tied in front of us. I glare at Blake as he takes my ringing phone and answers it. “Hello my precious angel. I’ve missed you. It’s time for you to come home.”

“I’ll come home, but when I do, I’ll make sure to slit your throat before you can even make a move. You won’t know when I’ll be there, but I’ll be there, and you’ll regret the day you ever messed with my family.” She says in that cold disconnected voice. Before I could tell her not to come. Tell her that if she puts herself and our child in danger I would turn that fucking ass red, she hangs up the phone.

“This will be interesting. Now, we wait. At least, I have enough of you to keep myself entertained while we wait.” This is going to be a long ass night. We need to plan to get out of here, but we’re surrounded by at least two hundred men. I just hope Hannah knows what she’s doing.

There are many things that my father trained me in as I was growing up. I’m a master at killing. I was the go-to assassin for my family. I’m able to get in and get out quickly. I’m known to the world as The Silence because of my ability to get in and out quietly and quickly. I’m feared by many and admired by all. However, I haven’t had to become her in a very long time.

Today, she comes out of hiding. I have an almost sixteen-hour flight to figure out a plan before I drive the two hours to get to the clubhouse. This could go one of two ways. One, I could end up losing my life and in turn, my unborn child’s life. Two, I go in, take them all out and save the day. Who said women couldn’t be the heroes? It’s not all about the men. Sometimes the men just happen to be the damsels in distress. It’s time for me to save my family and hopefully, I’ll never have to become The Silence again.

“Kylie, I need you to access the clubhouse cameras and tell me how many men are in the building with Blake.” I call my families hacker, Kylie Abraham. She’s one of the best. I used to think she was the best until I met Snoopy. I hear the clicking on her end and settle more in my seat on the jet. I told the pilot to get me there as fast as he could.

“Looks like he has two hundred with him and a hell of a lot deader on the outside. I’m not sure if all of them are friendlies, but it looks like he’s taken the winning spot as of right now. I’m assumingshe’scoming out to play tonight?” Fuck that’s a lot.

“Where the fuck did he get that many men? Where are the members of the family?” I question, ignoring the rest of the questions that she already knows the answers to.

“The members in our family’s army are still fighting off more of Blake’s men at a different location according to their GPS’s. The members of your family in the clubhouse are all tied up in the center of the room. Blake seems to be having his fun with them.” He’s fucking torturing them.

“I’m going to kill them all.” I snarl. “Thanks.” I hang up the phone. I stand up and go to the artillery room we have on this plane. We have planes in each place we have safe houses in case we need to make a quick getaway. Going into the room, I grab a sniper rifle, three boxes of ammo for it. I grab a gun to put in my ankle, thigh, and side holsters. I grab three more boxes of ammo for all of those. This fucker is going down. He’s going to wish he never fucked with us.

I spend the rest of the flight cleaning the guns and getting them ready for action. I’ve also found a good spot to hide out. There’s a treehouse that has a direct line of sight to the back of the clubhouse. If I can get them to come outside, I can take them out one by one. I make sure I have a silencer for the rifle. I go to the back and lay down in the bedroom. I need some rest if I’m going to do this easily. Hopefully my little peanut will cooperate long enough for me to save his daddy.

I must have slept the whole flight because the next thing I know, I’m being woken up by the flight attendant we have on staff. Getting out of the bed, I sit in my seat and let the darkness take over. I’m no longer Hannah. No, I’m The Silence and I will be until I finish this. I spend the car ride to the clubhouse planning. Once I get a few miles away, I park and grab my rifle from the seat next to me. Making the trek through the woods, I see the clubhouse come into view after an hour of walking. I find the treehouse and climb up before getting situated. I’m glad my bump isn’t any bigger than it is now. This would be even harder.

Looking through the scope of the rifle, I see there’s a hole in the side of the building. I can see Blakes men standing around. I take a deep breath and start shooting as I let it out. I take out around fifty of his men before they notice men dropping like flies. That doesn’t stop me though. They don’t know where I am. I’m too quiet for the likes of them.

Travis’s POV

I noticed the minute bodies started to drop. My daughter has become The Silence. I never wanted her to become that person again. I didn’t realize we’ve been here as long as it would take her to get here, but honestly, time stands still when you’re being held captive. Blake has done a number on a few of the guys here.

He started with Kai before moving down the line he has us in. He’s finally made it to Jackson, and I can see the darkness in his eyes. He doesn’t make a sound as Blake slices into his body. He doesn’t make a sound when his nose is broke, when his arm gets broken, or when Blake breaks his leg. He’s a strong young man and perfect for my daughter. I’m not sure where all our men are, but I’m assuming the ones we kept here are all dead. Otherwise, they would have been here earlier.

I look behind Blake and notice more men falling. Blake finally turns around and notices. “What the fuck? Who the fuck is out there!? I had all their men killed!” He bellows before sending ten of his men out to investigate. We all watch as each group of men he sends out there meets their death. I let out a chuckle at the look on Blakes face. He’s down to his last fifty men. “What’s so fucking funny?”

“You really don’t know who you threatened do you?” I shake my head. He looks at me expectantly. “You just brought The Silence out of retirement.” His face pales as Hannah enters the building.

“Oh, Blakey! Honey! I’m home.” She sings out, with a malicious grin on her face. She’s completely shut her emotions off. “What? No hello kiss?” She taunts. She throws a knife over towards her brother before pointing her gun at Blakes head.
