"I brought a bottle of wine for you, Ainsley. It’s in the fridge."

"Thank you," I said, looking over my shoulder in Spencer's direction. He got up and grabbed the bottle of wine from the fridge. I dug around in the drawer for our wine opener and switched out my water glass for one of my new stemless wine glasses.

"Shit, I forgot to get something from the car. I'll be right back" my dad said, placing the roast back in the oven and grabbing his car keys from the hook by the door.

Seconds after my father had left the house, I felt Spencer's hands on my arms and his lips at the back of my neck. I closed my eyes as he pressed his lips to my neck, and then I turned to meet them, and that was when the front door crashed.

He pulled away from me, letting out a low, frustrated growl, and tore the wine bottle from my hand and began shoving the corkscrew into the cork, opening the wine for me.

"Forgot dessert," Dad said, ignoring us both and opening the fridge to put the dessert inside.

"How's things going with that chick?" Spencer asked my father as he sat back down, not taking his eyes from me, but doing his best to keep my father distracted.

"Great, we have another date next week. You were right, Spencer. I don't know why it took me so long to sign up."

"What about you, Spence, how are things? You find anyone yet?" Dad asked while tending to the roast in the oven, once again ignoring the pair of us.

Spencer cleared his throat and looked over to where I stood, watching me as he brought his beer bottle to his lips. "Um, I think I have."

I glanced to Spencer, wondering what the hell he was doing.

"And?" my father asked.

"She is amazing, but I don't want to jinx it."

I felt the flush on my cheeks as he looked over at me, but I had to look away.

"That is great, Spencer, really. You'll have to show me a picture of her. Or better yet, perhaps we could set up a double date."

I picked up my cell phone and quickly typed out a message, giving him shit, and hit send, Spencer's phone going off a second later. "I don't have one on me right now. Perhaps later," he lied as he typed a reply on his phone.

I pulled my phone from my pocket and noticed a message from RomanticAlpha42 on my screen. I clicked it open and sucked in a full breath.

RomanticAlpha42: Perhaps you won't be so mad at me when I lick that sweet pussy later.

"Ainsley, everything okay?" Dad asked, taking a drink of his beer.

"What...Yep! Just Carly," I lied, taking a drink of my wine, almost chocking as it hit the back of my throat. I quickly typed out another message. Spencer's phone went off almost immediately. I had to get out of the kitchen before Dad caught on. "I'll be in my room," I murmured, taking my wine with me.

"Ainsley, we have company," my father gritted, annoyed with my behavior.

"Just let me deal with this. I'll be right down," I said, waving my hand at my father.

I walked into the living room and stood up against the wall in the hallway while I listened to my father as he rambled on to Spencer about Kate, the woman he had been seeing. I poked my head around the corner and watched Spencer read the message I had sent. As soon as he replied, my phone went off again, and I took off down the hall, pulling my phone out of my pocket as soon as I got into my room.

RomanticAlpha42: My place tonight, after your father has gone to bed. I'll make sure he is good and drunk by the time I leave, so you've got nothing to worry about!

I smiled to myself and typed out a response, agreeing to meet him. Then I quickly called Carly back then threw my phone down on my bed, grabbed my wine, and returned to join Dad and Spencer.

Spencer - Three Month's Later

To sayI enjoyed working beside Ainsley more than my sixty-year-old assistant was an understatement. I leaned back in my chair and watched Ainsley through my partially opened office door, just like I’d done every night at this time. Today though was different. She looked absolutely amazing today. The dark sweater she wore clung to every curve, and paired with her black skirt, it took very little imagination on my part to picture her naked. She really needed to stop wearing office attire that made it hard for me to concentrate.

Suddenly, she looked up in my direction, and I quickly turned my attention back to the email I'd received early this morning. I was looking at expandingFinding Foreverand was looking at opening a new office in Denver. I looked to the email I'd received earlier this morning from the real estate agent I'd contacted about office space; she could meet with me next week.

I tapped my fingers on the desk, fighting within myself. I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to get Ainsley alone for an entire weekend. I just needed to come up with a reason as to why I would need my assistant with me for such a thing. It wasn’t because of a business decision. Hell, I ran the company. I could place funds wherever I needed. It was more because of Jon. He didn’t understand the corporate world, and also didn’t understand the need for me to keep Ainsley working so late most nights of the week. He had made more comments to me about her hours in the recent days.

I reached for the hot cup of coffee she had brought me ten minutes ago and took a sip, leaning back against my chair as I stared at her once again. The only thing on my mind was how I was going to convince her to come away with me.
