Twisting them onto their sides, he kept his arms about her. A giggle escaped as he kissed the back of her neck.

They awoke entangled. The sun streamed into the room. It was obviously late morning.

“I’ll go put breakfast on while you take a shower,” he said, dropping a kiss on her forehead.

“Okay,” she agreed.

He had breakfast on the table when she arrived in the kitchen.

“Ouch!” she cried out as her bottom hit the chair and she leapt up again.

“Sore?” he asked with a grin.

“Beast!” she snarled.

“Sit.” He pointed at her seat. Gingerly she did as he bid.

He handed her a mug of tea.

“Can I visit Honey today?” she asked before taking a sip.

“Sure, I thought we would go after breakfast and then maybe visit a certain factory shop on our way back...”

She interrupted him with a squeal of excitement.

He held up his hand. “Uh-uh, don’t get excited just yet. I want you to explain why you want to shop there if you’ve decided not to be a little?” he asked.

She frowned. What could she say? Nothing was straight in her own mind.

“I-I don’t know. I feel really vulnerable right now. So much has happened to me and I guess I just suddenly seem to be unable to decide what I want. Last night I suddenly really wanted a baby but today I don’t. What happened to me is beyond my comprehension, and now I-I find that I love you, but the idea that any day I could be torn away from you just...” A sob escaped.

“You just?” he prompted gently as he moved around the table and dropped to his haunches beside her.

“It devastates me!” she wailed, beginning to cry in earnest.

He wrapped his arms about her. She dropped her head onto his shoulder.

“I would be too,” he told her softly.

“No, you wouldn’t,” she snapped. “You’d still have me, the other Penny, your Penny. For you this is a win-win situation. For me, it would mean the destruction of my entire world!”

Her own words and the realisation she was right dried her tears.

“Penny, we can only work with the here and now. Let’s live each day as it comes. We’ll go see how our girl is and find out when we can fetch her home. Okay?”

She nodded. “Okay.”

“Good. I’ll go take a shower while you finish your breakfast.”

She did as he suggested and ate her toast. What he said made sense, but she still pondered on how they would live together. The crux was he wanted her as his full-time little; however, she feared that if she adopted the lifestyle, her reliance on him would become so great that if she was cast back into her own dimension, she would be unable to cope as a rational functioning adult. Why couldn’t she bring herself to explain that to David?

She shook her head. It just wasn’t that simple, or was it that she was a coward? Ugh! This was getting her nowhere! She pushed back her chair and cleared the table.

David showered anddressed while his mind centred on Penny. Could he live the rest of his life with her in a simple domestic discipline relationship after having the dream lifestyle with his wife to constantly compare it to? He didn’t know the answer to that, but what he did know was that he’d try his damnedest to convince her of the perfect age-play lifestyle. He’d been so happy. Why had this happened to rock his world?
